Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

If it wasn’t for Colonialism? There would be no wheels on the bus that everyone is throwing her under.
@rd:
Puleeze, wheels were around since the BC era. Developed before 3000BC
You
Are
Ignorant
You talking to me, Fart-Face?
Valid contention provoking stupid responses.
@rob83:
I am just nit picking.
A journal article the equivalent of mean orange man tweets? That will be the day woke is dead.
Are people sick enough of woke to vote this lady in? I certainly cross-examined a municipal council candidate on my doorstep two days ago. He’s against the UN’s Agenda 21.
Diversity is not their strength.
Happy Lief Ericcson day!
It doesn’t matter if your ancestors came 200 or 20 years ago, They hate us and they are teaching the kids to hate us. All on our dime.
Without colonialism, the inhabitants of the Americas and subsaharan Africa would still be living in the stone age. So they can f*ck off with their moronic grievances.

BEST COMMENT of the day.
That is exactly my position as well.
Enough Ass-Kissing – Virtue Signalling BS from the Media/Govt , when it’s those who thrive on Govt (Indian – African Industry) Largesse – The Chiefs in Canada, every POS Liberal in the country + the CEO’s of all those supposed NGO’s “helping” feed African children etc.
I do not donate to millionaires….they take plenty in taxes as it is.
All victims of colonialism are advised to stop engaging in cultural appropriation and reject the use of indoor plumbing and modern dentistry.
But, but, but the right to hunt from the highway at 2:00am with a spotlight has been with “the elders” since “time immemorial.”
The captured institutions are virtually irreformable. Until they come for you to take you to the Gulag, all you can do peacefully is to help starve the beast and keep your kids away from the cultural revolutionaries.
I find it increasingly hard to give a damn about Eastern Canada.
It seems that only the Presstitutes are upset about this.
I wonder why the chiefs in Saskatchewan were opposed to closing the residential schools.
To have these leftists deny that there were benefits of colonialism is typical of them.
First off, what about…..wait for it,…..Diversity Is Our Strength? They gush about the benefits of immigration and multiculturalism which are just other names for colinialism.
And if there were no benefits in their mind then they are declaring that a stone age culture is best.
Which we kind of knew they believed as they try to de-industrialize the world.
She has my vote.
Interesting.
1. I’ll be interested to see if she wins. If this was a U.S. election she probably would, but nobody right-wing seems capable of winning anything in Canada. Even when we think we’ve got someone on our side they end up being a Doug Ford or Jason Kenney.
2. I will eagerly read The Case for Colonialism by Bruce Gilley. Thanks SDA for the link.
3. I am somewhat torn regarding residential schools. The right-winger in me thinks taking kids away from their families to educate them didn’t provide the juice and it wasn’t worth the squeeze. Big government early progressivism is what it basically was.
On the other hand, Indians demanded education and something had to be done to get them out of the stone age and what realistic alternatives were there back then? Canada was worse than third-world in a time before anti-biotics and electricty and they offered the best they could. The alternative was leaving those kids starving in the dirt and trying to hunt their way to survival at a time when the frontier was being cultivated.
Hamilton was better off when it was run by bikers and mafia.
It still is.
Yes, but it used to be a better class of bikers and mafia.
Seeing as Africa and South America are in the process of emptying themselves out into America and Europe.. Colonialism ended too soon in those countries.. They are all failed states..
Colonialism for many brought unity, a functioning civil service, railway and other modes of transportation, medicine and influx of knowledge, wealth and marriage partners (as the blond oppressed are testament to).
We can moan on about its cruelties but we can’t ignore its benefits.
