I wonder if, after the mid-terms, Joe Biden will issue a pardon to Hunter, saying he had to do it to counteract the political vendetta the Republicans have against the Bidens.
The investigation has been going on for years? They didn’t take very long to track down and persecute people who took a stroll through the capital building.
Does anybody think this is anything but A managed roll out in order to contain the damage?

I’d actually hoped they would put this off until after The Big Guy was out of office, so he wouldn’t be able to issue a pardon.
I don’t doubt The Big Guy would. Though if completely separate charges are able to be filed against Hunter after this term, that would work too.
And seeing the electorate steamed that The Big Guy would pardon Hunter would simply add to my joy, knowing what’s headed towards the Democrats.

Democrats proved in 2016 that when one of their own is in the White House, they can do anything without fear of prosecution. Damn near anything is possible in the next 12 months. For example, former governor of Georgia Stacey Adams as the presidential nominee, and the Transportation Secretary who spent most of the supply chain crisis on paternity (or was it maternity) leave Pete Buttigieg as the vice presidential nominee.

As Popehat stated, federal agents often think they have a lot more than they do. I don’t doubt they have some dirt though. We’ll see if it’s enough.

To me it looks like all this hullabaloo about his criminal activities is Russian disinformation.
I can list 48 ex-CIA types to back up my opinion.
Optics. Even the general population is aware that Hunter has numerous illegal activities. The feds finally found some ones that are not linked to the Big Guy, so those are the charges. Nothing about influence peddling, access to the VP, sitting on boards with no qualifications, various kickbacks, or stopping prosecution in the Ukraine.
This way, the Dems can claim that they love law & order, and even the president’s son is not above the law. Hunter gets a slap on the wrist, and everybody stops worrying about the items on the laptop that indict Joe, which should have been the big story back in 2020. And should be bigger today.

All the DOJ and US Attorney need to do is wait 32 more days, and then the story can be completely disappeared again.

Get real people. The worst that is going to happen is some kind of suspended sentence because he’s ‘just a victim’ himself. Most likely there will be no charges and no corporate media coverage, just like with Hillary. Then you can expect all of it to be censored by big tech.
Justice and prison are for commoners, not the elites. Remember that, or you might get a true commoner experience yourself (remember the trucker protest?).
