    1. You have to be pretty high strung to feel anguish over cartoon p***y. Sox is probably curled up in the fetal position…

      1. I just don’t like children’s icons to be ruined by relentless woke propaganda, YMMV. Besides everyone knows that Shaggy and Scooby were taking turns with her.

          1. Speaking of lemmings: they don’t willingly jump off cliffs. They were chased and stampeded off the cliff by a member of the film crew.

    2. Colonialista – we had our dog spayed. Would that be gender(less)-affirming surgery? Does that mean she’s trans now?

      1. Does she identify as trans? Also, what are her preferred pronouns? Turns out my dog identifies as “treat” and ” walk”.

    1. Thanks for this. I have a soft spot for the Flying Tigers and it’s nice to see the P-40 getting rehabilitated.

      1. Glad you like it. Check out the rest of the channel. He covers mostly obscure designs but also some of the better known ones, like the two part series on Wellington.

As for Flying Tigers, among them flew one Witold Urbanowicz. A Polish Ace who could proudly paint a red star, a dozen or so crosses and multiple rising suns under his cabin. Prior to Flying Tigers he commanded the 303 squadron during Battle of Britain (the highest scoring squadron during the battle) then got into trouble with Polish command made friends with Chennault and the rest is history. Also, before the war he caused a diplomatic incident by kicking Willy Messerschmitt in the ass.

    2. Nick name for the P-40 was the “Iron Dog”. I am pretty sure it’s anemic rate of climb was a contributing factor.

      1. Coincidently in WWI there was another Iron Dog, she was SMS Derfflinger, a German battlecruiser, nicknamed such for ability to tank enemy fire at Jutland.

      2. There is the story of a crippled P40 that got its pilot home. His controls were damaged to the point he was stuck flying in a straight line; luckily in the right direction.
The Luftwaffe pilot trying to down the P40 couldn’t get over it. He unloaded all his ammo into the P40 and it kept on going.
The P40’s pilot could hear and feel each slug hitting and was sure he was a dead man. But, he managed to get back to England albeit a bit banged up. Being an iron dog was a damn good thing that day.

        1. I am almost certain that I have head this story before but about a P-47 not a P-40. Maybe I am wrong …

  1. I had the best pizza of my life in August 2001 in a little place in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge. The second best pizza I’ve ever had was in Manhattan. Sadly I’ve never been to Italy.

    1. Deb, I tried pizza a few times in Italy.i wasn’t impressed. Maybe I went to the wrong places?!

      1. Ive had pizza in many a spot in Canada and the US. Best Pizza ever IMO..??, is from an Italian Family owned spot right here in Calgary:

Strombolli’s. Initially in the Kensington area by the theatre, now moved to Bridgeland. They make their OWN dough..with a special kind of Wheat..
        It’s simply phenomenal Pastry..

    1. Kenji…

That has to be one of my all time favourite tunes…always gets cranked in the DirtyMax…!! The Genesis of Cream. Gotta Say, I’ve never ever seen that vid..?

  2. The Delaware Dummy.
Entering the fall election season, we need a new pet name for old, dead Alzheimers-Afflicted, Deep-State-Dominated Joe Biden. In November It be determined if the Baby-Crack Sniffer will dominate national political conversations and negotiations for the next two years.

Elections have consequences, and in 2020 we sold America to the CCP. “What am I bid for this fine antique?, a fossil on wheels, yours for the asking.”

If Joe the Baby-Crack-Sniffer exits the November elections with a win of any sort (absolute worst-case would be a Democratic majority in the Senate), we’re all hooped. We may all be hooped anyway, given that Mitch McConnell acts as if his greatest accountability is to the CCP, but try not to think about the inherent integrity of crooks.

  3. I know this will come off sounding like pizza heresy but I went to Florence Italy for a week several years ago and was fully prepared to experience to what I thought was going to be pizza heaven. Na, sorry. Don’t get me wrong…I had a lot of great food there but pizza just wasn’t one of them.
And the best Spaghetti alla Carbonara, my all time favourite Italian dish was in Amsterdam.
Like Chuck says…goes to show you never can tell.

  4. “I’m really a conservative. See, see! I’ll post lame, years-old links to stuff I think conservatives will like. I’ll even give you a tongue bath if you just reply to my post. Just please, please ignore that I am 100% beholden to DC-Davos Globohomo. And if you’ve figured out yet that I live in Beijing because I only post in the middle of the night in Canada and that I’m nothing more than a parrot of corporate media….then I’m telling mommy on you! I DEMAND a book burning of your fringe-minority-with-unacceptable-views comment!”

    1. Reader,
I live in Burlington, ON and the city has approved a “protected” bike lane for a 500 metre stretch of the four-lane street I live on. Incredible traffic disruption for 3 months so far and they are far from done. Based on what I see, I’m guessing that vehicular traffic will be permanently affected by the dozen people a day who will use it.

      Cost to the taxpayer…$3.1M.

  5. L – Dr. Leslyn Lewis, who could she cross examine: Chrysta Freeland, Min. of Finance/W.E.F.,
Melanie Joly Foreign Affairs. If half the Trudeau cabinet are W.E.F. stooges. They all
should stand trial for this. Lewis should be named Deputy Leader of the C.P.C in Parliament.
