The American Medical Association is asking Big Tech and the Department of Justice to censor, deplatform, investigate, and prosecute journalists who question the orthodoxy of radical gender surgeries for minors, arguing that public criticism is “disinformation.”
This is now the Left’s playbook: last year, the National School Board Association, Department of Justice, and F.B.I. worked together to label parents who opposed critical race theory “domestic terrorists.” They want to stifle dissent, suppress speech, and criminalize opposition.

It’s hard to believe that anybody there actually believes sexually mutilating children and young people is a good thing, backed by ” science. ” Of course they’ve convinced themselves it’s normal and not mutilation. Still, AMA leaders are one thing. Surgeons actually agreeing to this is another. It’s mindboggling. Money isn’t everything. They may find that out some day. And ultimately will answer to God.

It’s an extraordinary statement, especially as the meaning of parts of it are not clear.
As an example, when they say “investigate and prosecute all organizations, individuals, and entities responsible”, do they also mean those who simply spoken out against gender-affirming medical procedures for children? It rather sounds like it.

I don’t think you should call them ‘the left’ anymore. It seems crude and unnecessary. It’s the FBI and democratic party doing this, it seems more effective to name the actual agents of the activity rather than stir up tribal loyalties. I suspect that a lot of people who feel sympathetic toward ‘the left’ could be brought onside by pointing out that the government is using anti-terrorism laws to target mums for talking at school meetings.
