Naomi Wolf is a serial…well, I don’t think she’s a willful liar, but she provably cannot perform basic research competently. Her claims about the number of anorexia deaths (among other things) in The Beauty Myth were ridiculously outlandish and have had to be redacted repeatedly in later printings; an entire book of hers had to be pulped after she was humiliated on live radio by a host who pointed out that her entire thesis was based on a critical misunderstanding of a basic English legal term that could have been resolved with literally fifteen seconds of Googling (which he did on air). There’s no charitable way to put this; she’s an incompetent airhead.
Wolf has long been a darling of the feminist and alphabet left, and while I appreciate the irony of letting them destroy her over this she’s not a good spokesperson for anything to do with basic research. There are plenty of competent researchers with much better reputations for quality work that would make better standard-bearers.
You don’t have to be a scholar to be against vaccine passports and other nefarious covid lockdown measures on which she’s been fairly consistent.
Today she’s the enemy of my enemy which makes her my friend.
I’m good with that.
I was shocked at how far this woman’s political alignment had shifted…. until I realised I thought she was Naomi Klein. I actually have no idea who she is or how seriously to take her claims. They are scary if they’re true though.

How can you take her seriously when she insists on being called “Doctor” because she has a Doctorate in English Literature.
Similar nonsense from “Doctor” Jill Biden, who has a doctoral degree in education.

No longer is it the institutions job description to provide us with the “best available information” and allow us to make informed choices..
Instead we must be coerced,nudged and stampeded to make the “correct choices”..
Obedience is demanded.
And my conclusion?
Eviscerate every “helper” who demands obedience.
Preferably with an instrument no sharper than your average butter knife and a rusty one at that.
For this kind of power lust and desire for control must be “cured” whenever it seeks to rise to power.
Civilization is incompatible with persons so afflicted.
Thus we are riding the down slope of this luxurious technological civilization we have so enjoyed..Unless we reward all our helpers in the most appropriate style.
