Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Break or brake. It is not complicated, yet so many fail.
I believe the failures in such things are because people read less these days.
Very cool video, none the less.

Very slick video…Thanx for posting that Kate..!!
That got the pulse rate up.
Nice brake from politics.
It might have been “break” as in “breaking formation” – hard to tell. Not much “braking” before landing that I could see.
If it’s already broked, don’t brake it more.
I could watch carrier launch and recovery videos all day. Quite possibly the most awesome (and tough) people can do!

Always enjoyed watching the flat tops at work…
Looks easy 😉
As per the rest of the crowd…watching Carrier Operations is 100% enjoyable.
Be it from the mid 40’s to now…
With the advent of the angle flight deck there was a air turbulence problem caused by the Island. With the newer larger carriers is that still a problem?
In my early days in the RCN I love to watch trackers land and fly off of the Bonnie.
