      1. Ok more tombs. More likely the construction supervisors, surveyors, etc.

The manual labour of building them? Slaves

        1. “The manual labour of building them? Slaves”

          100%!

Every empire in history used slaves, the Egyptians are well documented as a slave owning society. So why then would they not use slaves for any heavy lifting (?)

        2. “Ok more tombs. More likely the construction supervisors, surveyors, etc. ”

And the stonemasons, and any other skilled trades.

“The manual labour of building them? Slaves”

Naturally. They were the ‘construction equipment’ of their time…

  1. I don’t plan on seeing another production of Hollywood tripe, however I’d like to mention here a couple of things regarding the ‘slave’ trade as pertains to today’s commemoration of the so called ‘colonization’ by British conquerors. With all of the hoopla going on I’d like to throw out a couple of thoughts.

The British were not the only colonizers in history. Why are the Brits the only ones that are under attack for spreading Western civilization. The French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch did as much to ‘colonize’ humanity, perhaps even more so, than the Brits did.
On a similar subject how much did the Moorish conquest of Spain influence the Spanish conquest of the New World. Four hundred plus years of Muslim domination of the Iberian Penninsula left a legacy there that had a profound effect on the Spanish domination of South America.
Just a couple of thoughts to open a discussion.

    1. Done dude.
Also look up the History of Native tribes in Canada.
It is mind boggling how inhumane they were.

        Let’s ask Father Brebœuf…

“To prevent him from speaking more, they cut off his tongue, and both his upper and lower lips.
        After that, they set themselves to strip the flesh from his legs, thighs, and arms, to the very bone;
and then put it to roast before his eyes, in order to eat it.”

The Iroquois used to cut a foot off captured slaves… to stop them from running away!

Not something they’re gonna be teaching at Toronto Metrosexual University.

          1. … now, since that is no longer socially acceptable under the (ewwwwww) white Christian morals of today … such women are just disappeared. And then it is implied that “white men” did it …

  2. “Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

  3. Long before Leopold II turned the Congo into his rubber gulag, many native Congolese rulers were extremely brutal and had no qualms about selling their own people to slave caravans.

Old Leopold was just following an old Congolese tradition of brutality and exploitation. He was committing cultural appropriation if you will.

  4. Probably mentioned this before, (at my age one tends to be repetitive); about 36 years ago visited Gorée, Senegal, where slaves were ‘supposedly’ (there’s apparently some dispute), shipped out to America.

Young Senegalese guide remarked that they receive numerous black American visitors who inevitably ask “How could you enslave YOUR OWN people?” Standard response “They weren’t OUR people, they came from Mauritania or somesuch”.

    Brudderhood, Baby!

  5. I’m sure they’ll have a new movie where this African Warrior Queen defeats Hitler. And the Klan. And Trump.

As a historical document, of course.

  6. How easily we forget the etymology of the word “slave” as it directly references the Slavic people who were enslaved by many bloodthirsty totalitarians, both small and large. Kind of like how WEF Globohomo wishes to enslave the nation of Russia today.
