  1. Stock up on popcorn. The Liberals and their bought and paid for media are going to get real nasty in the coming days.

  2. Orders from PM Zoolander to his media fluffers:
“If you want to keep your media corporate welfare then you had better destroy this guy because he’s going to end those handouts.”

Why doesn’t David Akin have a full disclosure blurb of how the Liberal’s handouts to the media creates a massive conflict of interest for him?

  3. Make them suffer.
Good on him to re-start and get his full statement out.
After that, he should just say
“I was going to take questions, but your colleague there burned up all the time. Maybe next time.”
    Then leave.
    They’ll learn.

  4. I am not disappointed.
I am elated – elated, I tell you!
Let them display their derangement so vociferously that even the average LIV or mushy middle voter can see what they really are.

  5. Why is it a State Secret how much of our money that Trudeau has given to David Akin’s employer?

What percentage of Akin’s salary is paid by us through that Liberal corporate welfare?
    50%?
    More?

No wonder he is terrified that Trudeau may lose the next election.

  6. Let’s start here:

    http://www.davidakin.com/

Mr. Akin states, in his second last paragraph, ‘I allow my sources to buy me the occasional meal or beer….. I do not accept gifts, grab-bags at conferences, demonstration products, etc. that are worth more than $50 Canadian.’

This guy’s so cheap he’ll accept anything between a happy meal (with toy) up to a case of beer.

  7. Akin is no more than another little Trudope concubine. Crawl back under your rock where you belong .

  8. I think Mr. P. should have publicly called out the loudmouth PITA by name, and organization.

If Mr. Akin persists in these disruptive, harassing behaviors? The Conservative Party should pull his credentials.
Mr. P. should get a restraining order issued against Mr. Akin personally and keep renewing it.

If Canadian Law is anything like American Law? A restraining order issued by a judge will really screw up Mr. Akin’s life. Petty? Maybe? But if we are going to ever get back to a respectful civil society, bad behaviours must be punished. Especially if it is a hypocritical, elitist, liberal ___-wipe like Mr. Akin.

    1. Speaking of credentials, I am not sure exactly what status RebelNews had with the CPC up to Poilievre’s election. I am no fan of Rebel, but the CPC’s past treatment of the group has simply been despicable, un-Conservative and unjust. Poilievre needs to apologize to Ezra and his employees on behalf of the party, IMO.

      1. Based on his latest podcast, it sounds like the CPC made up for it by giving Rebel News a decent set up.

    2. “I think Mr. P. should have publicly called out the loudmouth PITA by name, and organization. ”

Maybe. But what he should NOT have done was allow himself to be bullied into answering questions when he had already stated that would be no questions.

His first major test, and he fails it.

  9. I think it’s great that the Canadian corp media are going to go hard after Poilievre, that way we won’t have long to wait to see if Poilievre is the ‘real deal’, or not.

I wish him all the fortitude in the world, he will need it.

  10. IIRC it was David Akin who complained following the initial announcement that the Government was going to subsidize the media. Global’s financial position was positive and they did not need a handout.
Aside from whatever the chiefs at Global might have said to him for that, he must have got a call from Katie Telford to advise him of his mandatory posting to Iqaluit if he didn’t start toeing the line. I bet Glen McGregor must have been jealous over Akins latest performance.
As to taking questions I would suggest that Mr. Poilievre make as much time for the press as reasonably possible as long as he is prepared to call them out immediately when they get ridiculous. Trump probably talked to the press aside from formal press conferences more than any President before him and he used that tactic to expose the shills in the US press for what they are.

  11. Poilievre (at about the 31 minute/beyond mark) would earmark some money for French language.

That’s not getting rid of the CBC.

    Destroy it all.

Should we be looking for pod people a la David Akin?

  12. David Akin is simply channeling his inner Jim Acosta: “It’s all about me! Seriously, look, look at me!!”

  13. when will the CPC use it’s position to force the information about the Canada media slush fund out into the open? One of the back benchers can use her parliamentary question to do it.
