…the Ottawa Quack (JAN: Just another Nazi)…no so much eh.?

      1. Indeed. Just one of many lists of such nonsense. But a fabulous live video you found, Robert, of an impossibly young Brooker in full (unique) voice. I’ve already discussed (prematurely) that this is considered one of the few “perfect” songs ever recorded.

But another feature not to be overlooked is the “instrument” of Brooker’s voice. So much of Rock (and all genres of music) really hang on the quality, quirkiness, and engaging tone of unique human voices. Brooker has one of those quirky voices that you just can’t stop listening to (I can’t) … It has a soothing quality to it that so perfectly fits this hymn of a generation.

      1. Kari Lake will be president one day. And I still play records too, that’s how out of touch I am. No four-figure cartridges but I still have the same Japanese made belt-driven turntable I bought in 1980.

          1. Akai AP-B20. Audiophiles are still pretty keen on it today. Back then the argument was between direct-drive or belt. And yeah, you shouldn’t have sold that.

      1. An extremely optimistic and exaggerated assessment. I want it to be true but this is beyond realistic. I could go into details but this is yesterday’s news, so I will stop here.

    1. The RIFT is already opening between Global Warmist KC3 … and The PM who has unfettered oil and gas exploration in The UK. This is nothing more than KC3 virtue signaling through his Royal Office. Gawwwwd …

  1. Some background video with my morning coffee. Until I started to listen. Made before the Ukrainian/oil crisis. Either the European leaders were in the pay of the russians or they were total fools. Either way they should be treated with the contempt they deserve.
