  1. Sanctuary cities can tolerate anything but immigrants. NIMBYland is hilarious.

    Hypocrisy thy name is Democrat.

It was hilarious watching a Democrat try and explain their hypocrisy on Fox News this evening. “Anything but busing illegal immigrants to liberal sanctuary cities. That just makes no sense. The problem must be contained in border states.”

They have no idea how totally incoherent they are. These people are assholes.

    1. Chicago is forwarding their bus loads on to wealthy suburbs.
Never fix a problem when you can make it someone else’s.
When Chicago lost control of housing projects the solution was to tear them down and spread the people out to different suburbs.
Like diluting sewage in a larger body of water. Instead of one concentrated festering pile you get everything slightly scummy.

      1. I heard once long ago, from a chemical engineer, “dilution is the solution”. He said it with a smirk that told me he knew what he said was a load of horse shit, but it’s been working so far. Don’t mess with success.

        1. If we dilute carbon dioxide pollution enough, there comes a solution…as far as the misanthropic Gaia people are concerned.

    2. And the Democrats are the ones complaining about colonialism.

I suggest all those complaining about colonialism, move back to the countries where their ancestors came from.

This includes so called native Americans who colonized North America when the ice age ended.

    3. Just unreal…”all fine n dandy when it’s elsewhere, but when it’s on his/her doorstep it’s the Fault of Texas..?”

Its by design…and is in play throughout the Western Hemisphere. Started bk in the ’70’s. In the 2000’s Merkel Injected “nitrous” Into the whole affair (via Klaus -Soros?), and now every Commonwealth nation is under seige..big time.

All designed to destroy Western Civilization.

        1. Nothing wrong with tradespeople and STEM workers.
But unbridled immigration will be western civ’s great demise.
Bringing in old cripples to overwhelm the health care system ain’t gainful.
Uber drivers soon unemployed by AI cars and the attack on the automobile will soon be breaking in to your filthy basement and stealing your sticky porn pile.
Homey and the Racoon’s gun violence is nothing but a product of unbridled immigration.
          And then there’s housing…
Your gains are cheap pizza, cheap drugs and groomed teenagers. Way to go, Shitbag.

          1. “But unbridled immigration will be western civ’s great demise.”

It literally built America. You’ve been singing this hoary chestnut for decades and been wrong at every step.

“Homey and the Racoon’s gun violence is nothing but a product of unbridled immigration.”

More immigration = less crime, every time all the time.

          2. As the mayors of New York, Chicago, and Washington DC say; immigration is great, just not to our cities.

          3. Yes UnMe, its entirely logical to say that the continent in 1822 and 2022 are virtually identical, especially the population.

          4. Sure, importing millions of Somalis or Haitians made every country richer that tried it.

“More immigration = less REPORTED crime, every time all the time.”

FTFY, there is a reason tens of thousands of white people run from Browntown and it is not the stench of curry alone. Also ask women in Cologne or girls in Rotherham. Always the same story: Import turd world become turd world.

          5. ““More immigration = less REPORTED crime, every time all the time.””

That’s a butthurty way of admitting the data support my position.

“there is a reason tens of thousands of white people run from Browntown and it is the stench of curry alone.”

But they don’t. It’s just you and your fellow racist failures. Better get used to it, the whole continent is going to be Browntown in time. We won.

          6. “That’s a butthurty way of admitting the data support my position.”

Nope that is just a reflection of two phenomena.
            1. They don’t snitch on each other.
            2. When white people report crimes against them that are committed by enrichers, the white people are accused of racism. Double that if the cop happens to be an enricher too. So they just run.

Also, you denying the real plight of people harmed by mass immigration once again proves that the world be a better place if the money wasn’t exchanged when your parents met on that single occasion.

            “But they don’t.”

Yes thy did, tens of thousands of them. This is very well established. When their way of life was mercilessly destroyed by cynical politicians pandering to the turd world sewage.

            “We won.”

You won half Yugolsavia half Indian sub continent. You won racial hatred, ghettos and filth. That is your prize. I got multiple options where to go when things fall to shit, and with my skillset I can make a living anywhere, you don’t. Congrats douchenozzle.

  2. Ukraine has gained more ground in 3 days than Russia has in 3 months. Probably at a far lower cost too.

From what I gather, the Kharkiv offensive was a NATO style combined arms attack, mostly driven by mechanized brigades. Some SOF and air force. The lines disintegrated quickly and the Russians had no layered defence. Ukraine quickly found and destroyed or captured the artillery brigade assigned to the region. That means they can bring in their air defence, which they did. They already have their air defence network established.

It sounds like there’s thousands of POWs. To the point where it’s actually a problem. Who knows how many more orcs will be captured in Izyum which is now effectively encircled.

Thousands of POWs, plenty of captured equipment and two massive ammo dumps. Orcs can’t even withdraw right.

    1. Wait till the dust settles. We don’t know what has happened yet, and what is the magnitude of the operation and loses on both sides. It is still a very fluid situation and Ukrainians do not have effective air cover and may be paying a high price for their advance. Too early for champagne.

Having said that, the reactions from orc mainstream media range from full panic to calls for prayers, even Solovyov and Skabeeva are s***ing themselves: https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/xa62r3/russian_media_discussing_the_recent_offensive_by/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

      1. They moved the Buk systems in with them after they neutralized the artillery brigade. They quickly established AD networks. Ukraine seems to have planned for all possible angles except one: they didn’t expect the Russian lines to collapse so quickly.

        1. I realize that, but those are mere snapshots. I am hoping for the success with minimal loses and maximum damage to orcs, but this war more than any other should have taught us to wait with scheduling victory parades… still the situation has this distinctive flavor of Warsaw 102 years ago.

        2. I am digging through a lot of reports now. Seems like the rather spectacular success in the north, has been paid for by the bloodbath on the southern front. In the southern front. Ukrainians managed to draw in from other other sectors a lot of russian reserves including newly reconstituted VDV units. In the south Ukrainians achieved some mild success, inflicted heavy loses on orcs but suffered heavy loses themselves. For example, the valiant 128th Mountain that was pushing south from the north along the western edge of russian controlled area has paid a very heavy price. The sacrifice was not in vain but, loses were heavy enough that the towns that house the brigade in the peacetime officially declared days of mourning for the fallen. All in all Ukrainians have won several rounds, but it is far from easy victory.

          1. Thats a fair assessment. But some are suggesting the Kherson offensive is stalled or failing. The opposite is true, it is working exactly as planned. A true feint/holding maneuver thats also making progress. Unlike the Kyiv offensive that Russian propagandists were trying to convince everyone was a feint.

There needs to be consistent pressure applied all across the Kherson front so that the Russians don’t get any relief and their supply lines become stressed.

I think once Kherson is isolated – no rush to liberate it – the next move is a push to Melitopol from the north.

    2. They’ve taken back Izyum. It’s over. The cost in simply monetary terms of this campaign might be negative because there’s so much captured equipment. The Ukrainians have managed to capture artillery…and BM21s. It doesn’t look like they took too many casualties because the Russian lines literally collapsed faster than Ukraine could advance. Kupyansk and Izyum are major transport hubs and Russia has lost control over them. That theatre is toast.

I remember a while ago you heard about massive casualties around Bakhmut? Any follow up on that?

      1. Ukraine inserted special forces to ambush the fleeing Russian troops. This withdrawal was completely opposite in performance compared to the Kyiv withdrawal.

They captured some EW equipment and managed to destroy a Moskva-1 passive radar system although I’m not sure if the latter was in that area. The amount of equipment captured is staggering.

Regarding the Bakhmut numbers, there definitely was an uptick in Russian deaths claimed by the Ukrainians over the next few days, but nowhere near the number I heard. One interesting tidbit to come out of Russia is a letter with the total amount paid to families for Russian KIA. Divide that number by the individual payout amount and you get 49,000 which is what Ukraine claims. However thereabouts would not include DPR, LNR, or Wagner KIA. It has not been verified if this letter is authentic.

    3. So they don’t “need” $4B… fkcuing MORE $$$$ … from the American taxpayer who is being economically pummeled by UKRAINE. Glad to hear they’re winning. Now get off my teat!!

      1. Even from the most cynical and selfish point of view, US is degrading military and economic capability of its global adversary on the cheap and without a lose of a single American life. This is a great investment anyway you look at it. Morally we owe Ukraine much more than that.

      2. Meanwhile members of the US Army whose families are struggling financially are instructed to go on food stamps.

    1. That was spectacular. It would be interesting to hear what he said after he mentioned that the (paid and bribed) alarmist climate scientists are on “a gravy train.”

    2. I’m amazed this even made it on air. I’m also surprised there wasn’t “crackle crackle, It appears we have lost the feed.”

    3. The news announcer (the worst heat wave in 1000 years) should immediately give up his car. And turn his house heat down to 15 C.

    4. That was absolutely AWESOME..!!
LITERALLY the best 3 minute Trashing of the entire pile of colossal BS known as Climate Change via CO2.

      A definite KEEPER…!!!

    5. Brilliant! I ADORE that wild-haired Astrophysicist who gets it completely RIGHT!! And let me add that the stultifying record heat wave of a weeks worth of >110 deg. days here in N.CA was caused by a massive heat dome of high pressure that simply couldn’t be moved by any usual weather circulations. Sorry Warmists … it was a totally NATURAL phenomenon. But damn am I glad to get some ocean breezes making it over the coastal range today!!

Nope. The weather isn’t EXTREME … but the Global Warmists sure are.

  3. No link because I’m being lazy, but for the song, “Take On Me” (which has to be in anyone’s ‘definitive list of 1980s songs’), get on YouTube and find the acoustic performance from a few years ago. The new arrangement & tempo completely changes the emotion of the song. You just need to hear it for yourself, a description won’t do it justice.

Hillary Clinton to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas: ‘Don’t you want to retire?’

    https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/hillary-clinton-supreme-court-justice-151401070.html

The world would have been a much better place if Honest Hillary had won the 2016 election, instead of having it stolen from her by dRumpf, the FBI and Russia!

    1. I’ve noticed a number of pro-Hillary articles in the media lately including one on why she wears pant-suits. I didn’t have the courage to read it. I expect she is getting ready to throw her hat in the ring for 2024. Free media coverage like that must cost a lot of money.

  5. In 2016 three black students attempted to buy alcohol illegally from a bakery near Oberlin College in Ohio. Somehow the incidents turned into a protest against racial profiling and the bakery was shunned by the college with college “professors” actively protesting carrying signs that read “Don’t Buy”.

Gibson’s Bakery, a family-owned business that had successfully operated without incident for decades claimed foul and sued the college. They have been awarded $36.59 million, a decision that was recently upheld by the Ohio Supreme Court and that won’t be further appealed by the college. You can bake a lot of muffins with $36.59 million.

    https://www.cnn.com/2022/09/09/us/oberlin-college-bakery-lawsuit-payment-reaj/index.html

    1. CNN is so full of it. The black students first tried fake ID, then tried to steal a few bottles, and when the store clerk photographed them doing that, they knocked his phone out of his hand, hit the clerk in the face, and proceeded to beat him. All 3 were arrested, and plead guilty to shoplifting.

    1. You can tell summer is over as the execrable Canadian Liberal Party-Owned Media ramps up the Petrifying Pierre poppycock.

  6. Ever heard of Steely Dan … Best rock, funk, jazz fusion ever. The main ‘Dan’ is Donald Fagen genius. Check them out, you won’t be sorry.

    1. Who is Steely Dan? “Steely Dan III from Yokohama” is the name of an oversized steam-powered strap-on dildo mentioned in William S. Burroughs’s psychotropic novel Naked Lunch.

    2. I used to listen to Steely Dan and Supertramp to counter my steady diet of Zeppelin, Sabbath, Rush, Deep Purple, etc.. Steely Dan is indeed great music.

That said, I will now out myself as a hypocrite and say that I wish the “Reader Tips” thread would return to being about “Reader Tips”.

  7. Just a casual observation on your decades listing of popular songs. The writing, melodies and lyrics get progressively worse as you move up the latter. There still is some good stuff out there now but the masses today don’t like it. At least in the past the masses appreciated a well constructed song, no more.

    1. Rick Beato dives into this “phenomena”, as to why boomers hate recent music. And I do…..

One of his main drivers, is the automation/robotic nature of the music industry, from autotune, to rigid computerized time rhythms. There’s little humanity in today’s pure electronic, computerized produced product.

Plus, let’s face it, there’s only so many ways to present 3 and 4 chord riff progressions, unless you’re Alex Lifeson.

So, for those of you wanting and desiring some fresh “rocking” music with rhythm, give today’s country a go. Sure, not every song is my cup of tea, but it’s not the trash of Top 40, it’s something different, with rock roots embedded in it. Yes, cliches abound in CM, but there’s humour to it as well. Find myself smiling at it.

      5 foot 8, for example.

        1. He does a very nice job of explaining why I am an analog, vinyl aficionado. But also an audiophile who has invested in a top level two- channel sound system. My current cartridge is a $2k Dynavector XX2 for example … you don’t want to know the rest of the system … suffice to say … I’m “invested” in quality sound. If the stock market turns around … perhaps I’ll finally buy my dream cartridge.

          https://store.acousticsounds.com/d/12775/Koetsu-Onyx_Platinum_Cartridge-Low_Output_Cartridges

But for now … my vinyl delivers the nuanced timbre of all the music I listen to. My wife is satisfied with the compressed digital convenience of her iPhone … but I am not.

  8. Runners in the Detroit marathon who cross into Canada must use the arrivecan app. No app, no entry. The race route starts in downtown Detroit crosses into Windsor via the Ambassador bridge and returns to the states by the tunnel. Most runners are in Windsor for about 20mins. To register for the race you must be fully vaccinated, carry a passport or traveler card and proof that you fill out the arrivecan app. The story is at Rebelnews. The arrivecan app was suppose to expire on Sept, 30th, the race is Oct. 16th.

    1. That was very well done. So good it makes me worry about what a bad actor will be able to convince people of.

  9. https://youtu.be/-oDHnr-bOLM

“Peter Cain interview for the documentary film “The Spider’s Web”. This interview did not make the final cut, however Peter Cain’s work is essential in providing an understanding of the City of London from a historical perspective. We highly recommend his co-authored work “British Imperialism: 1688-2015″, which is one of the sources for the Spider’s Web documentary.”

“Peter Cain is a British historian well known for his radical critiques of imperialism. He is the co-author of the book British Imperialism, a book described as “a milestone in the understanding of British history and imperialism.” “

  10. Pierre’s first task as leader is to fire whoever organized the announcement event. This is 200% cringe bad.

  11. Pierre Poliviere wins in a landslide with 68% of the vote. Should’ve been much higher imo. At least Charest only got 12%. I’m assuming most of his votes were libtards who joined just to cause chaos.

    1. A lot of Charest’s votes were Maxipads who registered for Conservative party only to derail PP. As always proved impotent.

  12. We need a Conservative leadership thread. Very glad Pierre won. Now if Canaduans have any sense, they will make him PM.

    1. Except Justine and Jagmeet will cooperate to keep the present government in as long as possible, which likely means a 3 year wait until the next election and Justine giving Jagmeet everything he wants to keep their looting going on.

I hate to think what condition Canada will be left in by September of 2025 with all the money printing going on, all the buying of votes and all the money being given away to Third World despots.

It’s pretty bad when all the old-time diehard Liberals I know are saying they wish things would go back to “normal” and just the regular corruption they were used to under Chretien. They know the extremes that Team Trudeau™ are going to in terms of bleeding the country dry for generations to come. And they blame it on Team Obama™ who provided all the software and general strategy in the 2015 Liberal campaign.
