LATEST UPDATE: Now there are reports that he’s dead. WUT? He was reported in custody, in handcuffs when apprehended near Rosthern.

Interesting flight pattern. But it might be nothing. Or maybe something.

An “individual reported to be armed with a knife is travelling in a 2008 white Chevrolet Avalanche, Saskatchewan licence (plate) 953 LPL that was reported stolen out of Wakaw around 2:10 p.m. (Wednesday),” RCMP said in the update.

The vehicle was last seen travelling on Wakaw’s Cemetery Road in an unknown direction of travel and “unknown persons involved,” police said.

“We believe this may be related to the Melfort dangerous person alert issued Sunday, Sept. 4.”

Let’s hope so.

  3. Rural saskatchewan is in harvest mode so vehicles are all over in fields. He can switch out vehicles easily and blend in with all the traffic as the crop is coming off.

  10. The entire scenario as reported so far makes the Regina sighting(s) difficult to fathom, why go down there and then come back up to the crime scene vicinity? Other than that, good job by SK RCMP, not such a good job by justice system.

    Sad to think of so many victims in a very small community that probably doesn’t have a lot, and I understand the social dynamics entirely but even so, most if not all of these victims had done nothing to deserve their fate, and to what end really? Just like various terrorist incidents, many proxy victims that some perpetrator sees as “responsible” for something, but chosen almost at random, no more or less responsible than you or me.

  24. If his death is true, what is the RCMP covering up? I like wild ass conspiracy theories as much as the next person, so I am going to guess again that the murders were committed with a firearm and the RCMP is covering this up to cover for Little Justin Stalin’s Guns-For-Natives-But-Not-For-Anyone-Else gun control rules.

    I could be completely full of crap, of course. But is anyone else other than the RCMP confirming that the murders were committed with a knife? Are any witnesses confirming that?

    On a less conspiratorial note, an acquaintance in SK tells me that most of the deceased are from the family of Myles’ ex – it may have been a personal vendetta.

    1. I saw the list: most of the dead are from the Burns family, including his ex’s father (who was a proud veteran of our military). There is one Sanderson on that list (not the bro). It very much looks personal.

  29. RCMP press conference … key points … they arrested Myles Sanderson and found a knife in his vehicle. Later, he went into medical distress (in the ambulance presumably) and was taken to Saskatoon where pronounced dead.

    I suppose he might have inflicted the wound just before getting out of the truck (forced in the ditch), officers may not have noticed the wound, eventually it bled enough to place him in distress?

    That’s the best case scenario for those wanting an answer that will not be a new conspiracy theory. I could think of several other scenarios but will wait to see what the investigation reveals.

    Not particularly sad that this was the outcome, a trial would be a golden opportunity for race victimization hustlers to peddle their wares. On the other hand, now it’s a blank slate and they can paint whatever picture they want. Not that many will buy the nouveau arte.

    One good thing, apparently he didn’t have to injure or kill anyone to obtain this last vehicle, so no new casualties.

    2. In her answers, she couldn’t answer if Narcan was used, and the RCMP provided CPR until the ambulance showed up and took over.
      She also said that he stole a first aid kit from another vehicle.

      Over/under on the autopsy being slow walked?

  32. Both CBC and CTV immediately went back to the studio when RCMP were about to take questions. During their ‘news’ programs! I guess they were afraid some questions could stray from the narrative. Whatever they decide it is.

    1. A family member with standing would have to sue the RCMP for negligent or malicious homicide to get autopsy results. Someone could also order a coroner’s jury.

    The bribed press won’t ask pertinent questions and the RCMP, huffy because they were made to work for their pensions for a change, will hope that the public is too incensed to demand an inquiry. Cue usual hand-wringing from whatever political corner needs the spotlight.

So apparently it was his mother’s truck that he was driving, he showed up at her rural property near Wakaw SK and she barricaded herself in locked rooms (despite his claims that he wouldn’t hurt her and wanted her to come with him). She then called police which is why the fast response. Surprised they hadn’t staked out that location as well as any other significant persons like girlfriends or ex-wives etc. But anyway, the story gets stranger by the minute, however, its only real significance is that white liberals fell for a smooth talking psychopath, didn’t see that coming, did you?

    Anyway, it will be you, me and Max to blame, of that you can be sure.

Apologies, I read something as “his mother” but it was the mother of a third party who related this story to CBC, and the relationship if any to Myles Sanderson is not specified although it seems that he might have known the woman in some way. But it was not specified to be his mother, just the mother of a reporting third party. If you read the CBC article you’ll see it’s a bit confusing on first sight.

  37. Perhaps he popped a little fentanyl when he ended up in the ditch, Myles had to know he was getting locked up for good this time. A witness has stated he was laughing and grinning when they were arresting him, maybe that was because he knew (they/the system) weren’t going to have him for long.

There will be calls for a conversation about all this with the motive being to shift blame to the residential schools but that just won’t work, too many people will know that’s a lie and it has nothing much to do with this case at all. So what does have something to do with it? Let’s have that conversation. For the good of the more decent and honorable people on the reserves who are victims of a system that doesn’t work, but a system that also enables some of their own, and feeds an unspoken racism of white liberals who don’t believe (apparently) that natives can make it in our society and must be held in isolation. There, a whole array of false narratives can be shopped around until everyone half believes them. The worst elements find the system full of opportunity to do harm to vulnerable people. It’s a house of cards of long-standing lies.

    What to do about it? In general, disband it. Case by case, some faster than others. Stop creating unequal classes of citizenship. After starting with our native people, the liberal establishment has gone on to create any number of other unequal classes, with different justice systems and no real accountability. “Old stock” Canadians would not put up with the corruption and nepotism of the reserves in their municipal governments (in most cases, I suppose there are exceptions to that rule). However they do put up with it in their more distant federal politics which have come to resemble the reserves. I’m beginning to wonder who conquered whom back in our past history. What’s the Liberal Party of Canada other than the biggest potlatch on earth? Except it’s one rigged to give the spoils to Liberals every time. We’re the generous hosts. A silent totem pole laughs at our stupidity some place. The top image is P.E.T. and below him, his (?) son.

    My perception is that U.S. native self-government has a generally better outcome than ours. Maybe we should look into that, also parallel examples in some other countries. But total integration is the best solution. Just think for a second what it would look like if we expected black Canadians to live in isolated communities. I realize, other ethnic groups choose to self-segregate but at the same time their communities are not “isolated” in the same sense and in many ways they end up being mirror images with a partial segregation. This has also happened in some of the more successful cases of first nations especially in British Columbia. Liberals would recoil in horror at this, but the more their communities look like ours, the better the social conditions generally become. It’s a known fact and ignore it to the cost of future generations of kids with no future on isolated reservations. When some of them realize what’s going on, they leave but they are ill-equipped to cope in the cities. I’ve met a few of those people, through little fault of their own they have run up against a glass ceiling they can’t fully understand.

  43. Usually things are just as they appear. But in a high profile situation there’s always a different twist. Maybe he “knew Bill and Hillary, Oswald, Epstein and Hunter.” Given that this happened before he was in jail, I’d say more likely the officers at hand decided to not give the parole board another opportunity to wreak their violence.

    1. I would bet the officers at hand treated this guy with kid gloves. They’d all know the level of scrutiny this case is getting now and for years to come. Everything was done by the numbers this time, no doubt.

Anyone else notice the media can’t wait to wipe this story off their venues, doesn’t fit their narrative “Natives are victims” of colonialists, no actually violence via native on native is one of the reasons our prisons are comprised of many native people.
