      1. And around that area find this for a different look – on the net is a mention of “A Polish-Ukrainian “commonwealth”? Now there’s a thought…:

No direct link because that seems to be allergic here

        1. Older Poles are no fan of the Banderas movement nor the Azov Battalion because Banderas wanted to not only exterminate all Jews, but also the Poles.

          1. Azov has nothing to do with what happened in 43-44. The reason Ukrainians worship UPA and by extension Bandera was for the fight they put against russians. Most of Ukrainians are genuinely shocked when told of Volhynia massacres. It is all ancient history. At this stage Poland is nearly uniformly supportive of Ukraine and Ukraine is nearly uniformly grateful for Poland’s help. Both understand that Siberians are the threat.

        2. “A Polish-Ukrainian “commonwealth”?

Not a chance neither side is interested. Separate and independent, one wants the other, also as strong as possible.

He is the founder and managing partner of BERG Associates, which was established in 1998. Larry provided training to the US Military’s Special Operations community for 24 years. He has been vilified by the right and the left, which means he must be doing something right.”

      1. Schwabbo’s soyboyfriend definitely has a few screws loose.

  1. Oh, c’mon, man…… You mean to tell me that those cardboard plastic drink box thingies that Prinz Dummkopf, Soapy, and little Hadrian use to show their inherent moral superiority over we deplorables, the dregs of human evolution, are all a bunch of horse puckey?

      1. I’ll add it to my “movies to watch while I tinker with an Arduino board” list.

As for The Highwayman, I was hoping for something like Gunsmoke meets The Road Warrior. Now, that would have made for a great TV series.

If you thought the pilot for TH was hokey, there’s a reason why the show didn’t last very long. It appears that all the episodes have been posted to YouTube and I watched the first two of the actual series. The first one involved turning dead people into androids, which was the theme of the Universal Soldier movies a few years later. The second one had TH hauling an alien that had crash-landed, complete with accompanying conspiracy theories.

I’m not optimistic about the remainder. Darn it, I was hoping for scenes of a souped-up tractor-trailer unit doing battle with rogue motorcycle gangs or something like that, thereby maintaining law, order, and justice. Unfortunately, the writers and producers had a potentially great idea and didn’t know what to do with it.

      1. Ah, so that’s why Prinz Dummkopf tells us, “I’m better than you,” which explains all that golden rain……

  2. Because it worked so well in Sri Lanka, and is so popular in the Netherlands…

“The (Canadian) government is looking to impose a requirement to reduce nitrous oxide emissions from fertilizers saying it is a greenhouse gas contributing to climate change. While the Trudeau government says they want a 30% reduction in emissions, not fertilizer, farm producer groups say that at this point, reducing nitrous oxide emissions can’t be done without reducing fertilizer use.”

  3. You know, there are many people, people with families, who earn income from the plastics recycling industry. Some of your neighbors are these people. You say hello to them when you walk your dog. You smile at each other at stop lights, and share shopping carts at the local mall. I think these harsh criticisms of the hard working men and women of the plastics recycling industry are unhinging.

      1. HiHo
Just pulzerize the shit and use it as fuel to generate power. I used to run a plastic recycling operation, and with home generated plastics , there is to much diverse types, so sorting becomes a huge problem

        1. The plastics recycling business has been used by certain people or outfits to bilk the government out of funding. I’ve known of several such crap artists. Once they got their money, their wonderful ideas mysteriously didn’t go anywhere or their facilities mysteriously went kablooie.

          1. I remember another case where the plastics recycling business was an outright scam.

Some 20 years ago, there was interest in a company in the local area (no names mentioned) that would produce items out of recycled plastic–stuff like planks and patio furniture. A group of investors got involved and put up money–a lot of it.

Among them was a former boss of mine who bought into the idea that it was going to be a sure thing. He ended up sinking some serious moolah into that (enough for a nice down payment on a house, it would appear) and even bought some additional shares to ensure that his wife and one of his sons would be provided for when the payoff came.

Like the saying goes, if it’s too good to be true, it probably is and that’s how it turned out with that fly-by-night outfit. Nothing, as far as I gathered, was ever produced. The money that was put up for it promptly vanished.

The main shareholder apparently skedaddled with the cash and, as far as I know, was never apprehended and the investors collectively lost their shirts. The last I heard, what physical assets the company ad were auctioned off and its name was registered in Nevada, though I don’t remember what it was used for.

As far as my ex-boss was concerned, he seriously went into hock on this get-rich-quick scheme. He probably spent the rest of his life scraping together enough cash each month to pay the next installment on the loan. It wouldn’t surprise me if there’s still money outstanding on it as there’s not just the principal that has to be paid back but the interest on the outstanding balance as well.

  4. Don’t Cancel Comedy – an excellent summary of why conservative comedy, like the Bee, is so vogue in the age of Woke, and, main stream, left-wing comedy (and their cheerleaders in the media), is falling behind: “Today the Bee reaches more people than the Onion” and “It’s almost a real badge of honor when you get fact checked”.

  5. Justin will be so happy. New Mainstreet poll shows Albertans want a return to a socialist(NDP) government.

    1. That can’t be. I understand from many commenters here that Albertans are the only morally righteous people in Canada, and if only they could get out from under the yoke of the socialist idiots and parasites in the rest of the country they could build a thriving utopia.

      1. Nice try Rusty. Albertans are sick of being Canada’s whipping boy while being plundered and our resources being controlled and blocked in a fashion that would never happen to Quebec. It’s the rest of Canada that is striking a morally righteous pose as they build a socialist utopia.

        1. Albertans are tired of being Canada’s whipping boy and you have my sympathy, so separate. But you won’t because there are just as many socialists in Alberta as there are in the rest of the country. And if by some miracle you do separate you’re just as likely to end up with a Notley or Nenshi or Sohi as your president and end up as “People’s Republic”.

          1. No there aren’t. You might wish it to be so, but it’s not. Albertan (and Saskatchewan) farmers don’t need any permission from Ottawa to farm as they wish. Ottawa can simply be ignored. And will be.

    2. Maybe in my neighbourhood in Edmonton. My MLA is Rachel the Rotten.

  6. https://www.trialsitenews.com/a/modernas-non-clinical-summary-for-spikevax-evidence-of-scientific-and-regulatory-fraud-fd53b4f7
Trial Site news is an industry site that reports on medical clinical trials. Apparently someone found some “interesting”findings in the non-clinical(lab rats studies for ex.) of the documents released by Moderna. There is a similar article about the goings on with Pfizer documents but that is behind a paywall. What passes for science…. i don’t believe enough I guess. It is very readable btw, even if you are not a biologist.Def. worth a look and a share.

    1. Not metal recycling.
Since the dawn of metal forging we have recycled scrap, only during our wasteful years did we bury it.
It’s too valuable to waste now in a landfill.
Someday we will mine our old landfills for mistakes we made in the past.

      1. Many years ago, there was a TV ad on an American channel that I found intriguing.

It started with a nice peaceful suburban neighbourhood. The weather’s nice and the sun’s shining. Suddenly, the hulk of a wrecked auto comes crashing down from the sky.

The punchline was something like: “Steel–the ultimate recyclable material”.

        1. No but I did buy a POS Gremlin , then that other piece of crap a brown Ford Maverick, nick named the Turd.
          Both just as bad.
I got smart later on in 79 and bought a Honda and never looked back.

  7. Recycling is littered (see what I did there?) with horror stories.

The best way to get rid of old tires is to use them as fuel in cement kilns. Ontario banned this because of air pollution and CO2 concerns.

The unintended consequence was that the tires were shipped to Michigan cement plants who now benefitted from lower fuel costs than their Ontario competitors and we still got the pollution and the CO2.

    Brilliant!

    1. Yeah, just as brilliant as crippling western economies by starving them of affordable and reliable energies while empires like China greatly EXPAND their coal and natural gas consumption.

BTW, has the Chinese Communist Party set aside a date for their annual Greta Thunberg Day, yet?
