  1. And now we have litter boxes in the bathrooms for students who identify as animals or furries.

        1. So hysterical was HiHo’s post that you seem to have trouble spelling your own name.
You were only off by one key on your keyboard, so close enough, I suppose.

But yeah, I kind of did a spit-take myself when I saw that.

    1. As I’m typing this comment I am unsure about the wisdom of posting it – I might lose what little I have remaining of my reputation. But here goes.

Re: abortion: If anyone of my family had an abortion, except for reasons of: risk to the life of the mother or for a risk of a permanent debilitating injury to same, I would disown them. However, if my enemies on the left want to kill their unborn children then – while I would consider it a deeply saddening event – I would not go to war over their right to do so. Yes, their unborn children are innocent but they would not remain so. The last thing I want is for my enemies is to bear and raise their children to become the soldiers who would wage war on my children (or grandchildren, as the case may be). I have a more comprehensive argument but it is too lengthy to published in this forum.

Abortion is a barbaric act. But military war is also a barbaric act – perhaps even the most barbaric act. The present cultural war is no less so. Compared to the barbarities of war, the barbarity of abortion is the lesser of two evils.

Oliver Cromwell is reputed to have said : “Nits become lice”. If the cultural left is to be destroyed “root and branch” then I, for one, am not going to stand in the way of them destroying themselves.

  2. Well, I’ll provide you with the silver lining in all this nonsense:

5 years ago most high school kids hadn’t the faintest idea how to apply or identify pronouns in a sentence. Now, thanks to the mentally ill, needy, perpetually offended class, their whole lives are centered around that previous ignorance. Who says they don’t teach grammar in school anymore?

    1. I teach grammar.

And I damn well make sure that my students understand subject-verb agreement.

  3. Until recently, I lived in Cambridge, ON. No kids, but this was my school board. While I’m disgusted by the board, I’m equally disgusted and somewhat unsettled by the subtle public support of this nonsense. It shocks me how many people around my age – let’s say in the 45 to 60 range – support this stuff. The officials and the vocal mentally ill who speak at public hearings are just the visible tip of a massive iceberg. Generally silent and beneath the surface is a surprisingly large population who likely vote in favor of this stuff. As the vocally “out” loons become more aggressive, it emboldens the silent loons and they start to let slip their views; for the most part they keep quiet, but they’ll occasionally admit their thoughts in public. It’s disturbing to see and hear someone who looks like how I remember my grandmother insist that men can menstruate and that young men coming home from secret double mastectomy surgery to tell their parents that they are now a boy is a wonderfully affirming thing. “And its even better when the parents are Christian” one woman told me during a polite chat at my condo’s weekly “Happy Hour” gathering. I’ve no idea how mutilation to spite one’s parents came to be the topic of discussion during a condo social event, but it did. Hoping for the assassination of Trump, even now after he’s left office, was also a frequent topic at these things when the mimosas started flowing.

Who are these people? From my observations, they tend to be single women – divorced and partnerless for many years; future cat lady types. Males are fewer, but it seems that they adopt the politics in an attempt to score with the future cat ladies. They’re all middle class and secure in finances and housing – typical Toronto Star readers, Comfy Couch Socialists all. Get them talking and you see that they are very bitter about something; perhaps over being betrayed in their marriages, over being alone, or about having done nothing dramatic in life. Seems to me that they desperately want to be seen as worthwhile and good people, and they pursue that the easy way by “thinking the right things”, whether it be about climate change, vaccines and lockdowns, or the sexual narcissistic psychopathies that are so popular these days.

The visible and vocal loons with the fluorescent hair and public histrionics are indeed dangerous. But there’s a huge silent following that may be even more dangerous due to their camouflage and infiltration amongst the normals.

    1. This is why we should stand by and let this country burn.

      Canadians are horribly short-sighted.

Karma cares not who you are, only that you need an @$$-kicking.

    2. great post, totally agree. I was part of a similar conversation today about the Roe decision. 30 to 45 demographic, educated, white, middle class. Standard cbc discourse from them about Republicans and Trump.

When I noted that the leaker had had the leak backfire in that it normalized the idea that Roe was going to be overturned, dead silence. I may have outed myself as an independent thinker.

  4. Communists and their Leftist Supporters seemingly infest every segment of our society…..

Time to obliterate Public Service Unions as a Start…and then Outlaw Socialist / Communist Political Parties.

    And ffs Home school.yer kids..!!

Where’s McArthy when ya need em..??

  5. the optics alone is extraordinary.
the one black member daring to question the orthodoxy is metaphorically LYNCHED.
    baffling.
we ARE now OFFICIALLY in a live episode of The Twilight Zone.

  6. Racism is the hammer, Canadian voters are the nail.
Racism is a political tool used to manipulate and control those who are too dumb to think for themselves.
Liberals shit all over black conservatives.

  7. Who gets abortions? Poor minorities and single moms are the vast majority.

You want more drugs crime and delinquency and massive social cost?

    This is the trade off.

I’m not saying I’m for or against. I’m just laying out the truth.

      1. I’d say the best theory re abortion is the same one that drives the left in general:
        Hatred.
Hatred of white folk, black folk, Asians, women, gays, children, the elderly…everybody who isn’t them.
They are the Orwellian purification of Hitler and Pol Pot, as The Party is the Orwellian purification of government.

  8. If you want to get rid of these lefties, set up a slate of candidates to run against them. Individual candidates tend to cancel each other out so put a team with a plan. They play the game you play the game better. The election is in October, start planning.
