  1. I’ve mentioned that the apartment complex I live in is often visited by rabbits. These are visible if one knows where to look for them as they know how to blend in with the landscaping.

    I often talk to them, like I do with my canine step-brother. I want them to recognize my voice and to know that whenever they see me or find the food I leave for them that they understand that I’m friendly.

    I often think that I amuse them. They seem to know that when they come onto the property and hide themselves in certain places, I’m bound to come outside onto my balcony and talk to them, saying “Hi” and telling them to be careful.

    If I can do that for a dog, why not a rabbit?

    1. We have lots of rabbits here in the burbs. Just waiting for the bobcats and coyotes to reduce their numbers again.
      I saw Harvey when I was younger. Even then I thought Jimmy Stewart was pretty cool.

      1. I live next to Whitemud Freeway, located a few km away from a creek ravine. I’m sure some of the critters come up from there, though I’ve heard that some of the rabbits live on the grounds of a nearby cemetery.

        I’ve seen rabbits, or at least their footprints, in other neighbourhoods of the city. They’re all over the place.

        By talking to them, I announce my presence and they know not to get too close in case I’m a predator. But I think some of them also recognize me as the crazy human who leaves them carrots in the winter, so they understand that I’m harmless.

    2. The jackrabbits have begun blocking traffic in and out of our cul-de-sac. Some move right away while a couple of them are a bit too defiant and need a couple of horn honks to move.
      I ran over a rabbit years ago. The stench from the splatter into the air vents was very nauseous. Not an option just zooming through.

    It stars character actors Colin Blakely (A Man for All Seasons and The Dogs of War) and Michael Williams (Dame Judi Dench’s late husband).

    Blakely plays a construction company owner who survives several attempts to kill him, playing dead to find out who’s after him. Williams plays an ex-soldier who helps him in his search. I remember when this was shown on CTV during the summer, back when networks had seasonal schedules.

    Watch for Julian Glover and Jane Seymour in minor roles.

        That X-Files episode fairly lays out their plans.
        THEY seem to have this bugaboo about having to tell us first what THEY are going to do to us in advance , which makes it okay in THEIR eyes.
        Usually in an obscure reference on a irrelevant medium.
        After that , it’s go time.

        So the question I wonder is, is it okay if we tell them what WE will do THEM in advance, if it’s Kosher ?
        Soon it will be OUR go time.

      Wind Turbines: Not only destroying landscape, now killing Lobsters. It would be a “shame” should a few of those (Cables & or Turbines), become “damaged”…?

      Cannot imagine why.
      Which does make me wonder,are todays petty tyrants working with a full deck?

    DID it ever occur to Y’all….that if ya stop using a covid Rapid Test, you just might find that all ya got is the COMMON COLD…??

    Rapid Home Tests are Designed such that if you get a cold or flu, it will ALWAYS come up as POSITIVE for “covid’…. PERPETUATING the Utter scam of COVID….btw, So will putting a drop of Tequila on it ….?

    But then, the past 2 yrs has demonstrated CLEARLY that the VAST majority of Canadians are totally blinded & incapable of critical thinking – buying 100% the verbal diarrhea spewed by MSM/Govt over this non existent Virus….and BS Vaxx.

    1. Force gender-confusion on the kids, dope them up with Ritalin and whatever else they can get away with, indoctrinate them with identity politics, then when these policies have the obviously desired outcome, use these outcomes as a pretext to disarm people.

    worked with a journeyman electrician (taught me enough l did it for another 15 yrs off and on) name of harvey, ‘like the 6 foot rabbit’ he coined a phrase. so l rented and watched the Jimmy Stewart classic indeed.
