  1. Wow, even worse than my friend’s story at YVR.

We know that the Supply Chains are broken. Is the Air Transportation System in Canada broken too? Inadvertently or deliberately?

  2. One advice for all who need to fly out of Moronto. Try flying Porter out of Moronto Island or try flying out of Hamilton. Avoid Pearson like a plague. It was always bad, now it is insane. And never ever book a connecting flight from Pearson. The place is a revolting nightmare staffed by unaccountable assholes.

    1. Flying out of Hamilton is a good option sometimes.

If one can, get to Buffalo.

      Just my thoughts.

  3. Spittin’ Chiclets. Too bad Biz Nasty isn’t travelling with him, that might have been epic.

  4. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Soviet airfare.

We hope that you hated your flight and you will never see your bags again.

    1. Air Canada’s operating principle “We’re not happy until you’re not happy!”.

WestJoke isn’t any better these days. They’ll notify you in mid air when your cell is in airplane mode that your connection has been cancelled and you find out while you wait 45 minutes on the tarmac before they dock at the gate that you’re on your own.

A pox on both of them.

  5. Yeah, but we are all so much safer now that the unvaccinated cannot fly, and all this difficulty at the airport is neccessary to make it so. We must accept some turmoil in our life.

That is until it gets faster to just walk where you want to go.

    1. I’m so glad I’m making an impact! By keeping my unjabbed deltoid (I was gonna say “ass”, but SCIENCE!) out of the flying biz, I am helping things move. Oh, my, fly away little bees!

    2. Absolutely nothing to do with the ‘unvaccinated’, only those with the Government Goo are going through that airport.
Was it the other week that Omar said they were hiring 400 and staffing was done 700. It isn’t hard to figure out than 400 < 700 and that means it grinds to a stop.
Its a government airport serving a government airline. What did you expect?

  6. Ingrate! Prinz Dummkopf has toiled tirelessly to make Canada into the socialist paradise it is now. Why on earth would anyone want to leave it?

  7. He has no self awareness about who to blame, did he vote lieberal? In that case give him a mirror..

Face it people we live in Cuba-nada we cannot leave without the governments permission, nobody can afford food, nobody can afford gasoline, everyday the govt berates us about sins allegedly committed by our forefathers, only chosen elites are allowed to work, the peasants starve and co-exist with a turd -world health system.

  8. Haha.
This is what shithole countries are like.
A minority of Canadians have voted for Juthtin and the Liberals to turn the country into a shithole.
    Congratulations.
Find a Liberal voter and feed it to him or her till they beg for forgiveness.
    Shithole Canada.
Has a nice ring to it.

  9. I used to drive to Buffalo and fly Southwest. Because -once- I flew out of Toronto. Driving 2 hours to Buffalo is better. Like, -way- better.

But I think the next time I go to Florida or Arizona, I will be driving the whole way. Air travel is becoming actively abusive. I’m not going to pay people to treat me like a prisoner in jail. They can keep that sh1t.

    1. Only about 23 hours non stop driving to Jacksonville including fuel ,food and bathroom breaks.
Make sure you have someone to ride shotgun and share the driving duties.

  10. Everything Trudeau does makes our lives worse. He’s screwed us over forever.

  11. Pearson airport was always a miserable place in the pre mandate days.

    I’m enjoying my unvaxxed status!

  12. I’ve been traveling for work the past couple of months, connecting through YYZ just about every time, all Air Canada. Fortunately, connecting through Toronto so already on the good side of check-in and security. Fly out of Ottawa and have a NEXUS card, so express through pretty quick except when my laptop needs testing (no separate NEXUS or pre-cleared screening lane). Fly often so familiar with the routines.

The only place airline status is helping is to get on board earlier to get bin luggage space, nobody checking luggage anymore and cramming everything into carry-ons that barely fit. At $52+ for a checked in bag on lowest fare, can’t really blame them.

Every delay I’ve hit has been due to Toronto. Last 3 trips were all 3hrs. plus delays out. Returns not too bad.

Toronto airport even through security is pretty boring. Same stupid security, access and public service messages every 10 minutes. The bars and restaurants are packed, people nursing beers and slowly eating to be able to sit without the mask.

The new posture of just about everybody is to just be taking a drink out of a cup, bottle or whatever the whole time they’re walking around or sitting. Nobody official appears to give a damn about it, so everyone knows the rules are theatre. Next big stress injury will be shoulder and crooked elbow mask avoidance strain.

On the planes the crew are following and enforcing the rules as politely as they can. They’re stuck, real choice is not on their side. I will them one good cheer, they start the service as soon as they can and run it out as long as they can so lots of time to be eating/drinking without the mask, or pretending to.

It’s a zoo, and it is not going to change for a long time.

    Thanks LibDipper A-holes.
