    1. I dunno if you ever read about Dan Inouye’s story Kenji. It’s incredible, and representative of a Democrat from yesteryear.
      That the same state voted for him and Hirono just doesn’t add up. They are completely unalike in every way. She is crazy as a bag of hammers, and keeps getting elected somehow.

      I sold new homes for a major builder in Calgary many moons ago, that’s where I learned that 90% of women(you know, breeders) are in charge when it comes to decisions regarding home life. It was entertaining to watch some men trying to be relevant, mostly asking technical questions about the engineered floors, foundation waterproofing, local bylaws, etc..

      I loved that job, taking a young couple from mere dreams and blueprints to actually taking possession of their first home. Too bad the builder itself ultimately turned out to be filled with dishonest, thieving, scumbag management. Their sub-contractors built quality houses for them, though.

      Also, anyone saying women have no power has never set foot in a divorce court.

        I was reminded of that in the past few days. The couple who bought my house in B. C. (yup, Schloss BADR is gone as if midnight earlier this morning!) want to refurbish it before either selling or renting it.

        She’s the one who calls the shots as to what has to be done and when while he complies. Since I still have a lot of my gear on the property, I need to quickly put it into storage so that he can get his work done according to her schedule.

            Not really. There was water in the basement from some recent rain, not to mention leftover spring thawout. When I saw that, I felt no guilt or remorse about signing the papers. It ain’t my problem any more.

            I arranged to have my (now elderly) canine step-brother stay with me at the house. Since my parents were still there, we were together as a family one last time.

            However, it seems that I’ve exchanged one set of miseries for another. Now I have to look for a new place and figure out how to get my stuff down to Edmonton.

    1. That trial had so much coverage all over the place that I think it displaced more than just 2000 mules and election fraud.

  5. In 1994, I read a book titled “What Really Works with Men”. Its thesis was that men are elegantly simple people. They find something which works for them emotionally and they stick to it. Women are the opposite, constantly evolving and have much better emotional skills than men. So that marriage/relationships are not 50/50, but 80% women/20% men. The author advocated for women dating a man for at least 6 months before having sex and treating the dates as interviewing the men for the job or making the women happy for the rest of her life.
    Sadly, that means each women should know what she wants out of life and what her values are. As well, sex rears its head much sooner in a dating relationship.

    Kinda gives you a sense of who’s really in charge.
