As of today (May 24), the Winnipeg Police Service has responded to 860 dispatched events in 2022 where a stabbing was suspected – an average of just under 6 per day.
Well, it is about damn time the looney-left addressed ‘assault-style’ butter knives.

Thought about ol’ Winnipeg the other day as a matter of fact, how some years ago an AirCanada internal memo suggested the company seek other hotel venues for their personnel on layover as the downtown Sheraton was deemed too dangerous somehow made it’s way to the press.
The media spun it as being “racist” and of course the CEO made a bootlicking apology and that was that.
I guess being stabbed is better than being shot.

As for home invasions, (which are 500% higher in Canada, than the U.S.A.,) here making your home very difficult to break into is illegal. “Your home is your castle” an axiom of British Common-Law, where invasion by government or criminal is illegal. Is that now more honoured in the breach, than the observance? If so, why ? Is it to make it easier for home invasions by criminals or agents of the state e.i. too many gathering in honour of: Christmas, wedding, funeral et al. ?
Canadians need to talk to each other about our political inheritance, our identity, our shared values, without the censorship of gov’t. and the MSM(gov’t. controlled).
Gun control is not about saving lives or lessening crime. The governments do not want an armed populace as then the people can take back control from a despot like we have in Canada. Both South America and Africa have murder and rape rates that are 2 to 5 times higher than the USA.
I could provide a dozen or two of statistics on who commits the most murders, or mass shootings and what races have the worst numbers, that contradict the claims of the left and the media.
If you remove the murders done by hispanics and blacks in the USA, the murder rate drops to almost nothing.
Just last weekend in Chicago alone there was 51 shooting and 9 dead.
its like that every weekend and that is only one out of dozens of US cities
around 80% of those shooting are by blacks ( a smaller part of it is by hispanics, and a microscopic part is by whites).
