What Would We Do Without Experts?

Meet Dr. Brad Spellberg, MD “healthcare policy expert” and “expert in infectious diseases.”

… this walking bastion of purported expertise has been too frightened to fly for two years despite functionally zero spread events on planes.

he’s afraid now and possibly mentally unsound due to alleged covid PTSD. (or maybe just likes the performance art of claiming to be so traumatized.)

his move to decide whether to fly:

read some studies? nope.

assess some data? nope.

hey, let’s poll the twitter audience!

  1. Ezra had an excellent series of tweets about 12 hours ago that shows the media using the term “experts say” to justify their garbage propaganda.

  2. Experts in infectious diseases have no place setting social or economic policy, period, whether they are beacons of rationality or hysterical wymyn.
The only sound policy is a very simple one:
Eff off and leave us alone.
Those who help implement any other policy need a long walk off a short plank.

    1. Interesting how the sectors that produce nothing expanded while manufacturing contracted. Not only Canadians are stupid.

  3. just got back from the local no frills, went to buy razor blades as I’m not pansexual.
    No blades available..

  4. Not sure any of us have much to say – we have all been fearfully locked up for 2+ years for a disease with 99.3 % survival rate if you get it and 85% who die are over 80,usually with compromised health. And then a huge number take an experimental jab which is largely ineffective. Did I miss anything?

  5. I hope someone else, or several other guys, are planking his wife while he goes on thinking the last two years were the best ones of his life. I think that would be funny.

  6. Amusing exchange at my condo elevator.
Cheerful older Chinese woman, maskless, invited me into the elevator.
    I thought, FINALLY, I had a covid-skeptic ally.
I mildly ranted, “This is gonna go on forever”.
She nodded vigorously. Halleluja! I thought.
She then added that we just need to keep our distance and be very careful. Halleluja my ass. She meant the virus is forever, while I meant the tyranny. So, I said, I guess I can’t give you a hug then?
She said, NO. Only an “air hug”. I guess like playing “air guitar” then eh?

  7. What’s the problem? Here we finally have an expert practicing what they’ve been preaching for two years.
Unlike the others who want us locked down, yet they go to all the meet and greets with the rich and famous.
