    1. Sadly not a secret to anyone paying attention.

Prog’s with impressive liberal arts degrees will shortly begin ranting that this is “Russian Disinformation.”

      1. There have already been some prominent lefties speak to this point, but they were quickly shunned and/or ignored by the eco-freak mob.

The left absolutely abhors inconvenient truths.

    2. There is no such thing as totally “clean” energy. Has MIT finally figured out what I and many like like me had deduced a long time ago?

      1. The word “clean” has been used deliberately by the Watermelons as a religious cleansing rite.

    3. Hi DB. I would argue against this. There is no doubt that some of the materials in an EV (notably cobalt, lithium and to a lesser extent nickel) are often sourced from “unsustainable” bad actors. But this has more to do with our distaste for mining combined with our attraction to the cheapest source of products. You never hear people complain about the lithium in power drills, or the cobalt used to test their grandmother for cancer. But you put a few pounds of cobalt in an EV and wow “unsustainable cobalt!”.

You can extend this to almost everything we import – from food, to processed plastic – and to much of the garbage we export for recycling. It has nothing to do with EVs and has everything to do with the fact that we (the western world) lead unsustainable lives and we just don’t care enough to change our ways.

      1. Well done Steve from Rockwood, you have captured the base hypocrisy of Gang Green in two paragraphs.
They insist that mining and resource extraction is evil. Then they attempt to mandate,by command economy idiocy, technologies that do not work and that require an exponential leap in the amount of rare earth resources, that they insist it is evil for us to mine.
        Cause “Electric cars are CLEAN”.

Are you seriously comparing mineral usage in ounces with mandated requirements which shall be in tons?
Which implies you actually argue for Dumb Bikers point.
Or do I need another coffee?

    1. That might explain a few things about a certain prime minister…..

  1. The below is a quote from an article by Matthew Noto over at My Planet, My Rules blog. For some reason the link ist verboten. It’s a longish but excellent read, well worth the time.

“Presidents, Congresspeople, Governors, Senators, even Supreme Court Judges come and go: the Bureaucracy is forever, and unlike politicians, it usually does not need to make the case for why it should remain in power indefinitely. It simply assumes it has that RIGHT because it has assumed all those FUNCTIONS, and because it recognizes itself as the true ruling clique, it has decided it also has the right to arrange all rewards and privileges in this country for it’s own benefit.

The Swamp does not need mere draining; it requires annihilation.”

I’ve been reading a book by Albert Jay Nock, titled Our Enemy, The State. Originally printed in 1935, Nock talks at length about the shift of power from society to the State. It dovetails nicely with Matthew Noto’s piece above. In addition, the author also talks about property rights re: land. If (when?) Buffalo ever splits from the ROC, I see property rights as one of the top issues to be addressed in the new constitution.

    1. The article is from Monday, May 2 & is entitled, “James Burnham Warned You…”.

    1. So what will happen first? Russia runs out of military products or Ukraine runs out of infrastructure?

      1. As long as Ukraine gets supplied by Civilization, Ukrainian infrastructure is not a factor. Meanwhile about 500 russians are being made good per day and russian equipment losses are hard to make up when russian economic model is that of a corrupt turd world shithole. War of attrition is something that Siberian Mongols cannot afford as civilization has much deeper pockets.

    2. Funny how EVERYTHING you post here on Ukraine is EXACTLY what CNN, WaPo, CBC, BBC, NYT and all the other corporate media parrot in unison like good little NPCs. Why is that, NPC?

      1. Facepalm.

I hope one day you will find that special someone. That someone with enough patience, crayons and interpretative dance skills to explain to you why sinking of two more russian warships by Ukrainians was picked up by news sources.

  2. It looks like Russia is well past the high water mark of captured territory. Now they’re losing ground in the east. Rumor is that recent bombing in Izyum that killed 20 officers absolutely demolished their chain of command. Too bad they missed Gerasimov.

      1. Have you heard a rumor about the only area defense capable vessel in the Black Sea Fleet being turned into a submarine?

        Hint: her name was Moskva.

  3. Apparently leaked documents indicate that, this Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court will overturn the Roe vs Wade pro-abortion ruling:
    https://globalnews.ca/news/8804635/u-s-supreme-court-roe-v-wade-leak/

Watching BNN-Bloomberg news this morning, the chattering news hosts spent half an hour worrying over this development — this when the network is supposed to be reporting business and economic news. “This will bring one million protestors to Washington this summer!” opined one host.

    1. Nock was not wrong in this:

“..Nock predicted in 1935 that a new world war would start in the summer of 1939, not because Hitler was unstoppable in his evil schemes, but because the powers controlling public opinion and public expenditure in the West would also benefit from a war…”

Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Bush Family, Ford, Morgan, Harriman and many many others financially supported the NAZI’s.

And as far as I’m concerned the same mofo’s today are doing the exact same thing….Profiteering as they have for Centuries.

Ask yourself this: Since 1945…how many years has the US NOT Been Involved in a War SOMEWHERE on this planet..???

    1. Gee what a coinkydink.

Not long after the appointment of a justice that can’t define gender, a leak on a very polarizing issue happens.
Now let’s consider outcomes and why.

Up until this moment the worst kept secret around DC was that there would be a red wave and the democrats were hoping that Biden would announce he wasn’t going to seek a second term so they would stop tanking in the polls.
Yesterday it was announced that Clinton’s legal team was not immune and will be required to submit documents to the Durham investigation.
      Now a question.
How many of the malefactors responsible for the unlawful acts since 2016 have done a perp walk?
      It wasn’t a leak.
      It was another insurance policy.
Narrative is created inside the swamp.
Story is farmed out to a willing scribe in media.
Scribe publishes bombshell and establishes need for special warrant to find the perp.
Special warrant is then used to get the desired result.

      1. Joseph, I agree with your many comments. Note that the leak was sent to Politico, a left-wing outlet– a sign that the leak came from a left-wing insider at the SCOTUS

  4. Maggie’s Moron is going to stimulate jobs by giving artists $50 million.

He’s going to take 100 bucks from me that I was going to spend on hookers and blow and give it to an artist to spend on hookers and blow.
I don’t see any net gain, economically speaking.

“Yabbut!” I hear you say, “It’s the economic multiplier effect. Now the hookers and blow industry gets 200 bucks.”
“Nope” I says, “H&B Industries only gets 100 bucks, I don’t have my 100 bucks any longer.”

    1. Yup. All them arsty phartsies need $100 to create all that “art” which will only repeat what the media party says, but with more colour and poofiness.

    2. We Don’t Need No Stinkin Fertilizer.
It’s refreshing to learn that the primary crisis north of the border is a shortage of dance and musical events. That’s a supply chain crisis undermining the quality of life of every Canadian, and which must immediately be addressed.

Pray the system does not run short of themed socks, because thousands would no doubt thereafter die.

  5. Third attempt. The first two disappeared into the ether. This time I will leave out the link and only suggest to good sda readers that they go to the Western Standard to see an article about how the Sk nurses union members voted down the use of the word ‘manda tory’ when dealing with vac cines in the workplace.

    1. First thing that a union rep will ask a manger when dealing with any type of health issue or injury time off or recovery is “Are you a doctor?”
Canadian union leaders are telling their members to get vaccinated.
      Are they doctors?

  6. Statement by the Prime Minister on World Press Freedom Day
    via the PM website.
The contents are unbelievable considering the state Canada is today, thanks to His Imperial
    Highness (spit).

    1. The police goons are there to provoke an incident that PM Dopey can use to feed the sheep more lies.

  7. I don’t think they know what that word means.:

    https://torontosun.com/news/canada/mass-shootings-caused-by-masculinity-says-report-commissioned-by-nova-scotia-inquiry

“Mass shootings caused by ‘masculinity,’ says report commissioned by Nova Scotia inquiry
The paper makes few mentions of the April 2020 massacre in which a 51-year-old man driving a replica police car murdered 22 people”

It’s just as stupid as you would expect from a Canadian journalism school grad, full of errors and outright nonsense about guns.
