Phrasing!!! Your post suggests that Judge Alito did the leaking. I am pretty sure that isn’t the case. It is likely a clerk working with one of the Left leaning judges (lower case j isn’t an oversight).
Almost certainly someone connected to the Democrats…..probably trying to get the lunatic left cranked up in the hopes that the intimidation will lead to a change in the decision. But that in and of itself is criminal.
But this decision isn’t about abortion….it is about which level of government controls it. It’s an argument between State/federal government jurisdiction. But as we have seen in the U.S. and also Canada, federal governments are bullying States/Provinces and intruding into their jurisdiction.
In that regard, if that is the decision of SCOTUS, it is a very positive sign that perhaps the federal government intrustion is now visible and the feds will be pushed back under their rock.

If it was a direct tax wouldn’t it have been unconstitutional because it was not based on apportioning by population? Income tax is the only exception because of the 16th amendment allowing taxation of income without apportioning it without regard to each state’s population.

If they get away with this leak, what’s next-they will sink to any vile level to win and they don’t care what they have to do to win. This leak is no different than organized extortion of the judicial system in it’s entirety. If the DOJ doesn’t charge the leaker with crimes then it’s clear the Biden regime sanctioned terrorizing and extorting the US judicial system.

If you work inside the Court, you know that the most concrete impact of the leak is to lock in this opinion essentially as is.
Any edits at this point reveal jockeying between Justices, undermine the majority, and Court itself.
