  1. Diesel fuel update.

When I filled up my truck in Edmonton earlier today, I paid $1.73/litre. The promised tax reduction went through. When I refuelled in Grande Prairie a few hours later, it was $1.80.

Driving through Beaverlodge and Hythe, I noticed that regular gasoline was around $0.20 cheaper per litre.

At the Flying J in Dawson Creek, diesel fuel was around $2.00, down a few cents from three weeks ago. At the Co-op station near my house in Fort St. John, I noticed that gasoline was over $2.00.

    Coincidence?

    1. Coincidence?
Coincidence…taxi drivers are taking more circuitous routes here. I have a running joke with one repeat offender to whom I very politely say, “Oh no, not you again!” He just smiles.

      1. I’ve heard stories that Putin’s been smashing chairs in the Kremlin because the invasion’s not going as planned.

Similarly, it seems pretty obvious that Prinz Dummkopf, who demonstrated how fragile his ego is, is punishing anybody who drives a diesel-fuelled vehicle. By doing that, he not only craps on people who use internal combustion engines (though not everyone–yet) but he’s also getting to those who showed him for the egotistical pimple that he truly is. Rather than taking a logical or even diplomatic approach to resolving the issue, he “whipped it out” to show he was Mr. Tough Guy.

Did he do it to cow Canadians into submission? Was he trying to impress Bathhouse Barry, Georgy Porgy Soreass, or Schwabbie? Both? All of them?

Maggot must be sooooooo proud of him…..

  2. “Mask-aholics”. That description certainly fits some, today…. or maybe I can suggest some terminology leftards themselves would better understand… “freedom-phobes”!

    1. What is going on is the destruction of human lives by government officials that should be charged with crimes against humanity, as their ignorance has caused this fraudulent covid disaster.

      1. VOWG; I don’t for one minute believe that it’s “their ignorance” that has caused this disaster. I am starting to thing that this has been a well planned and coordinated form of population control and depopulation. There are too many inconsistencies , and lies for it to be a natural thing. Nuremberg 2.0 can’t come soon enough. I am sure if the bank accounts of some of the big players were looked into it would shed some light as to what is really going on.

        1. Golly, and here I was being as polite as I can possibly be. I see nothing but truth in your post.

    2. Catherine Austin Fitts believes these deaths will be deflationary to counteract the inflationary monetary policy.

Fitts explains, “I am going to be a really bad guy.  We have serious inflation baked into the cake through the monetary policies, but you have to consider accelerated deaths from the ‘Great Poisoning.’  Those deaths are very deflationary.  This will force a great deal of capital to the next generation.  Depending on deflation from the deaths, that offsets inflation tremendously. ”

  3. Your under-worked and over-paid federal public servants, who always vote for Liberals and NDPers, are entitled to their entitlements. They have an endless number of opportunities to receive full pay and benefits for not working: “discretionary paid leave” for every one of them during the Wu Flu lockdowns!

“The Public Service Alliance of Canada says it has scored “a major victory” for federal civil servants who had to use sick leave, family leave or vacation credits to manage life during the pandemic.

Government figures show about 135,000 federal civil servants were granted paid leave during the first year-and-a-half of the pandemic as they dealt with closed workplaces, COVID-19 quarantines and children displaced from schools and daycare centres.

Under Treasury Board guidance, some workers were made to use accumulated leave credits before they could apply for discretionary paid leave, known as “699 leave.”

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), the country’s largest public service union, grieved that guidance.

Federal contracts provide for 699 leave, which was designed to be used when employees cannot come to work through no fault of their own.

Lawyers for the federal government argued 699 leave was intended for short-term situations, such as snowstorms, and that eligibility should be decided on a case-by-case basis. As a “residual” leave provision, they said, it should only be used once other applicable leaves have been exhausted.

In a recent decision, the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board ruled the government cannot force civil servants to use other forms of leave before applying for 699 leave.

Board adjudicator Marie-Claire Perrault said family leave, sick leave and vacation leave all have specific definitions in collective agreements, and are not meant to be used as a bucket of leave time to draw upon when employees are willing but unable to go to work.

“I find that requiring the manager and employee to consider other paid leave is a violation of the collective agreement,” Perrault concluded. “The rights and entitlements negotiated in the collective agreement exist as separate entitlements; they are not meant to be melded.”

Perrault said civil servants should not have to use family leave, for instance, to cover the problems created by schools or daycares being closed due to COVID-19.

“It is unreasonable to use leave that is meant for another purpose — short-term events — for a reality that may be ongoing,” Perrault said.”

  4. The virus fruitloopery continueth.

Earlier this afternoon, I was outside clearing off the light dusting of snow that fell in the last few hours here in Fort St. John. Some young kid passed by me on the sidewalk along the street….. and made sure that his face diaper was on nice and snug when he did.

A few minutes later, I spoke with an old acquaintance of my mother and we chatted for a while. I mentioned that I can’t fly because of Prinz Dummkopf’s idiotic edict. She, however, had the attitude that it was my tough luck and scoffed at my comments that I refuse to be contaminated by something which hasn’t been properly tested.

As we frequently say on SDA, you can’t fix stupid.
