I would also say I would not voluntarily join an army that uses me as guinea pigs for untested vaccines and has leaders that through away the lives of the people they are leading to try and make them selfs look good or distract from their own crimes and poor life choices they don’t want voters paying attention to.
These same leaders look for every opportunity to convict the soldiers they force into impossible life and death situations if anything does not go as expected and a tragedy occurs. Then these soldiers get to spend their lives forgotten in a prison cell or worse.

EXACTLY – All of that + up here they expect our guys to utilize pre WWII weaponry and other useless EQUIPMENT with which to fight.

More likely, at least for the time period any of us have to worry about, China’s goal is to weaken the US so nothing counters their influence in Southeast Asia, Africa and South America. Thanks to the left they may accomplish that without much of a military effort at all.
Actually occupying most of these places, especially the US, would be more trouble than it would be worth. I suspect that their main goals to actually acquire territory to be part of China would of course be Taiwan and then Australia (which is a country with not many people but a lot of resources which complements their too many people and not enough resources current territory perfectly).
Russia is much weaker than anybody thought, and is distracted in Ukraine. This would be a good time for China to move on resource-rich, and low-population Siberia.
