  1. How can any serious person not recognize this as deliberately tanking your country? Had a coworker whose wife had a rather serious gambling addiction which he desperately tried to help her with, at no time during our conversation did exposing her to more casinos come up as a possible solution.

  2. One would hope that it’s becoming more and more apparent that government at all
levels is the root cause of most problems these days.

Are there any parties running on a ‘smaller government’ platform, hopefully including a
commitment to review existing programs, ditching the useless ones, and sticking to their
knitting (i.e. not spouting on and on about climate change, critical race theory etc)?

  3. Can’t afford gasoline?

    Cough up for a Tesla!

The Democrats are totally out of touch with the concerns of the average American.

Didn’t the Dumocrats just give themselves a raise?

    1. And the Canadian politicians get an automatic raise (for what, one might ask) on the same day that Justine’s regime adds $.10 to the price of a liter of fuel. But hey, budgets balance themselves, our PM doesn’t read newspapers (or anything else for that matter), and has no understanding or concern about monetary policy – in short, an ignorant twit that never answers any serious question because he has no serious answers. And that is why his equally stupid father had a moment of sense and denied the brat access to his portion of the family fortune until he was 45 because he wanted the family legacy to have a chance – oops.

    1. In order to have a brain malfunction, one first needs to have a brain.

    2. Heavy vodka consumption has been Pigliosi’s rumoured affliction.

Her rants have become more unhinged, hand waving, stuttering, half-sentence pauses.

This is modern leadership, American style!

    3. To become a senior bureaucrat one needs to mumble, stumble and lie one’s way to the top.

  4. As someone said the other day, if it wasn’t for full time aides laying out her clothes in the morning, pouring her coffee and making sure she takes her medication so she doesn’t go too much off script she’d be just another rambling bag o’ goo of a grandmother that none of the kids want to be around.
But right now…she’s the Speaker of the House.

  5. The only way to control inflation is to inflate the currency?? Didn’t work for Zimbabwe. No mistaking that she’s a Democrat.

    1. There are a ton of gazillionaires in (the former) Rhodesia. All are starving but gazillionaires just the same.

  6. This is one time the left hasn’t fabricated a crisis as an excuse to grow government and spend more. Sure, spending insane amounts of tax money to create artificial demands for goods and services will really drive inflation down.
When the only tool in your leftist tool box is the spending hammer, something something you get the idea.

    1. Tax money doesn’t come close to covering what the politicians are spending. It’s mostly funny money now.

  7. America’s days of wanton money printing are coming to an end. The world has caught on to the scam and the smart guys are working on replacing the $ with something else. The more cynical politicians know this and want to have a couple of more spending binges so they can buy more real property i.e. houses, boats, land and jets before it all comes down. That’s my thoughts on this anyway.

  8. Whether or not Nancy is stupid enough to believe that “government spending will bring down inflation” is debatable. I would argue that she is even more stupid than that but, that she is pandering to the terminally dimwitted. She knows her supporters are that stupid.

  9. America is about to lose world dollar status. Implications of that are very bad. It was a good run but it was overplayed for a long time. When the call comes does the US reserve have the gold to back it up the way the ccp-russia do with their scheme. I doubt it. Ready for that ride?
