  2. Waving flags is a pre-post-national thing… and we are the first post-national nation. Consequently I have no loyalty to a nation that supposedly no longer exists according to its leader. (How one can be a national leader of a post-national nation is a fine piece of mental gymnastics that only a Liberal can do.) Its all double-plus-good for peoplekind.

      1. Before 1962 our flag was the Red Ensign.
        The current Liberal red maple leaf flag is a symbol of Liberal treachery, pillaging, money laundering and corruption impacting all but their own elite.
        Canada’s natives never had it so good.

        1. The current flag was courtesy of Lester Pearson, who was the original Quebec butt-smooching prime minister. The Red Ensign had a Union Jack in the corner, a reminder of the Plains of Abraham.

          We should be grateful that he didn’t insist that the flag have a fleur-de-lis in the middle rather than the maple leaf.

    Yep, near me here in southern Ontario it has happened. A number of locals banded together this past Saturday, marched to our local municipal building / library / post office took down the our Canadian flag and put up the Ukraine flag. All by it self. Was still there yesterday.

NEVER EVER donate to and charity/cause (no matter how noble the cause i.e. Ukraine) where your donation can be traced back to you.Once/if the govt decides they don’t like the cause they can/will freeze your bank account. Cash donation like the Salvation Army kettles are the only real safe way to do it.
