      1. Even DDG isn’t truly neutral, it uses BING M$ for its backend searches.
USE BRAVE BROWSER AND SEARCH ENGINE.

        1. Thanks. I have been using Brave browser, but I didn’t know about it’s search engine. I’ve been using startpage.com up until now. Startpage uses Google’s search engine, but acts as an intermediary by submitting search requests on your behalf, making searching using Google anonymous to Google, but that’s the problem. You’re still using Google’s search engine.

I made Brave the default search engine, and immediately noticed the difference in the hits I’ve been getting.

          1. Yes, I’m new to it myself as well. Have found the results much more neutral, than DDG.
Still having a hard time letting go of FireFix, but it’s a must.

Forced to use Chrome for work, the company, t-e-l-u-s has sold its soul to Google in more ways than you can imagine.

  1. Article mentions David Fisman. the same Fisman that took a bribe from the Ontario Teachers’ Federation to cook the models to make the look worse so that the teachers didn’t have to go back to school, confessed and is still walking around as a free man. So why, given that he can be bought, should anyone, particularly Brian Lilley who is having an affair with Doug Ford’s Press Secretary, believe anything that comes out his mouth. And why, when there is not a single study on the planet suggesting that masks are effective for aerosol born contagion like COVID, should anyone be listening to Kieran Mooron? Masks are worn in surgical theatres to keep droplets from the staff out of the patient, AND are used in an boosted oxygen environment to keep those wearing said masks from passing out from hypoxia. It does not prevent aerosol transmission because those particles cannot be stopped or trapped by said masks.

More bovine excrement and outright lies.

    1. I hinted at the fact that the use of masks was based on a scientific fallacy at my dentist’s office. One of the staff then subjected me to several minutes of verbal abuse as a result.

      The stupid is strong.

        1. I just started there and I didn’t think it was a good idea to cause a fuss, particularly because my dentist was the reason I went there. She was one of the students at the university clinic who attended to me and she was very good.

However, I will have a quiet word with my dentist about that young lady’s behaviour and make it abundantly clear that if that happened again, I take my business elsewhere.

          1. Too bad that happened. Was at my dentist a couple of weeks ago – the dental tech there had the exact opposite reaction. Said the masks were absolute BS and do nothing to stop transmission. There are some out there who haven’t bought into the BS.

    2. Posted earlier on another feed.
Read Cole’s latest over at Taki’s. “The Cults that are Killing Us.”
It’s Soros, COVID Karens and teachers all wrapped into one.
Whenever I look at it, I always come to the same end point. It’s an insane cult.

    3. I know Fisman resigned from the useless Ontario Science table because he said they were letting politics downplay the threat of COVID in the fall.

You saying he admitted to fudging the numbers? You have a link?

    4. Masks are worn in surgical theatres to keep droplets from the staff out of the patient

The various American surgical colleges no longer recommend the wearing of masks in surgical theatres precisely because they don’t even do that.

  2. NO. BC WILL BE.
And when the mandate ends the overwhelming majority will continue to mask. I saw this when it was lifted a few months ago.
There are some presumably very pretty girls I’m dying to see naked, um, I mean, whose naked faces I’m dying to see. Judging by the eyes.

    1. Yeah, I’m guessing that 35-50 percent of the population will continue to wear masks after the mandate has been lifted

      1. Mr. K, Vancouver % will be higher than that.

And therapy will be needed for many mask-free aspirants.

      1. Indeed, BC is the most unsafe, paranoid place in the world, and Bonnie NAZI and Horrrrrrgan are PROUD of it.

Yes, a YUGE part of the population will continue their masked ways forever, one can never be too safe, despite 3 or4 jabs…

Today, a Karen teller sniped at me in the grocery line, “GIVE THE NEXT PERSON 6 FEET!” as I had put a couple items on the tray, that were not easy to keep holding…..well, when it was our turn, we put down the $30 bucks or so of fresh produce and hand selected items, and told the Karen Bitch ” Keep them! We’re not buying anything here AND WE WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN” at 100 Decibels.

        This province is so fecked

        1. Indeed, BC is the most unsafe, paranoid place in the world, and Bonnie NAZI and Horrrrrrgan are PROUD of it.

It depends on where one is. As I mentioned a number of times before, I’ve bought groceries in Fort St. John without a mask. Nobody’s said anything about it so far and I’m not the only one who’s engaged in such civil disobedience.

          1. Yes BADR, the Peace Country is definitely an Albertan attitude vs the Lower Mainland Californian socialist attitude. It’s always been that way, going back to my time in FSJ back on the 80s.
If it wasn’t for the flippin winters there, I would move back.
As it is, we’re waiting on the insanity here in BC for the alleged end of mandates. The NDP marxist KARENs are intent on sticking their fingers in the eyes of every unjabbed person in BC, despite the evidence showing the clear lack of discretion that Omi has to people, it’s an equal opportunity virus, if not more so, the Vaxxed are more prone to infection AND more serious illness.
We”ve talked about temporarily relocating to Alberta for a few months, just to experience normal, and spend frivolous dollars on ALBERTA BUSINESSES. instead of the BC grifter industry.

          2. Peace Country is definitely an Albertan attitude

Indeed. It was that way while I grew up in FSJ. Edmonton was at least 8 hours drive away, while Vancouver was almost twice that.

Then again, like our old buddy PO’ed in Alberta (anybody hear from him lately?) used to say, Grande Prairie is where Fort St. John goes to shop.

Since I moved away in the late 1970s, I noticed more of a leaning towards Lotusland. A number of ex-LLers live there now and, thanks to Treaty 8, many of the passengers on planes going to Vancouver are government workers.

That’s certainly not the same Peace River country I grew up in.

          3. We shouldn’t have to be civilly disobedient in order to not do what we shouldn’t have to do in the first place.
This is just a submission warm up for climate change emergencies, the ones they cause with their green graft.
All of their chicanery and incompetence dutifully funded by taxpayers, the two-thirds billing the one third.
They can’t let go of their power. They’ll say it’s up to you, the new science that was always the science just told them so.
But hold on to your masks, they’ll say, we might get scared again – and your wallets; we’ll be sure to cover our assets.
Progressivism is a collectivist ideology. Starts as statist, fails, doubles down on that, to become a despotic hellhole.
The individual is to be sacrificed for the good of the elites – that is, the people; you know, what Canadians want.
Why we as citizens continue to allow this is what infects my mind. Federal and provincial elections, upcoming municipal.
Union and schoolboard meetings and elections. Corporate AGMs. Town Halls. We have the power but refuse to use it.
Far too many defer to our government’s more than recent costly record of malfeasance, miscalculation and duplicity.

Because voters want somebody of substance to step up and sort it all out so Canadians can finally understand the reality of what we face with falling productivity, debt and inflation burdens, with partisan pundits bleating about non-issues.

Who is that person? I am interested in suggestions.

        2. Yeah, BC will probably never get rid of the muzzle mandates.
I never wear a face tampon , why would I … just say you are exempt and go about your business, if they hassle you, leave, thats what I do. ( i did wear one at the optometrist )

BC is so politically corrupt … the Government has never produced any “science” or “data” to back up their terrorist actions, and they ignore any and all science that is contrary to their doomsday narrative… and the corrupt Media don’t care to ask as the media are just as corrupt.
My bet is that BC will never stop the scamdemic protocols, even when its proven to be a fraud, they will ignore all evidence that it is a scam until they can impose a CCP style social credit system… they’re so close.
Globalist run every level of Government out here, and Unions… the corruption is deep.

          1. And if that’s the case, we will relocate to AB, provided Red Rachel doesn’t find herself back in the Czar’s chair. Then maybe SK, but, no offence, it’s just not appealing. Depends how much further Commie BC becomes.

          2. I do wear a mask at “half-staff” when I go to my Neighbourhood’s Save-on-Foods. Flaring nostrils! Now for a little story: one of my university aged children tells me of a student that is being placed at academic probation at UBC for – wait for it! Wait for it! – NOT doing the “mandated” rapid testing required of all unvaccinated staff and students – drum roll…. – while taking ONLINE courses in January!!!

    2. I AGREE, I told my wife that same thing BC WILL BE THE LAST HOLD OUT!!!!!!!!!……….the COMMIES will be the last……that why in 2 weeks time we are moving to Alberta WHERE THERE ARE MORE SANE THINKING PEOPLE THERE……

  3. Looks like my fears will be realized once again. Canuckistan will have covid tyranny alive and well long after the entire rest of the world (including NZ see article below) has long forgotten about it. I guess that is a legacy from canuckistan being the place on the planet where sucking government tit has resulted in more personal gain for more people than anywhere else.

  4. I live in Ontario (right around the corner from Health Minister Frau Christine Elliot) and I’ve basically just STOPPED wearing mine

I encourage all Ontarians to get off of their knees

    1. Eric, may I suggest you work/help the candidate most able to defeat Christine Elliot next provincial election. Not that I want a Lib or Dip government, but thoe responisble, primarily Ford and Elliot, have to be made to pay a price for their two year destruction oif the Province of Ontario.

  5. “..others are advocating for masks to remain mandatory”.

It’s the same people who hear phantom honking.

  6. That idiot doctor with the double barreled last name mentioned in the article who wants to stay full idiotic Karen desperately needs her medical license revoked without appeal. She is literally advocating for the continuance of inhumane practices.

    1. That idiot doctor is responsible for organizing “jabapalooza.” A campaign to jab children. T-Shirts and everything.

She’s as lefty loonie toons as they come. Pure evil!

  7. A lot of people can’t die fast enough.

At my local NoFrills, they don’t ask. Word is Loblaws emailed employees to not ask questions. It’s really nice shopping maskless but the pretty young women are all covered.

Oh, and the ATM at our RBC branch was empty a few minutes ago. Probably nothing.
    Probably nothing.

    1. I’ve been to Loblaws at least half-a dozen time in the last two weeks; walked maskless right by tons of staff and no one has ever said a thing – your comment makes more sense now as I guess they got the email. I’ve ridden TTC subway twice-daily for two weeks maskless and walked by tons of security people there. Not one peep out of anyone. Walked all over the underground Bay Street PATH system. Same. The Mask mandate appears to be dying with a whimper, as like Communism, people have given up believing.

  8. Only in Canada?…..Shitty. Canadians are such sheeple. As the rest of the planet discards masks and passports goody too shoes, we’re better than everyone else, smug Canadians want to keep these mandates forever.

It won’t just be Ontario though. Bonnie lies over the ocean will have us in masks foh evah.

  9. The globalists have far, far bigger things to worry about now than Wuhan flu.

They have awakened a enemy able and willing to destroy them, and don’t stand a chance against it without our help. They will do and say anything to beg for our help.

Here is the only appropriate response.

    “Go fuck yourselves.”

  10. The great un-masking must commence.
This must include the bloody useless cloth masks that signal our coerced obedience, and all the metaphorical masks of the masked men and women who are robbing we, the people, of our rights and freedoms and money and trust.
    WEF do others think?

  11. BC will be last place on North America for sure. Bullshit Bonnie said in the coming weeks they will be possibly decoding on when or if they’ll lift them. She hinted at next fall.

    1. But… but… but… Tam hinted that they could bring back mask mandates in the fall!

      Public Hell-th is facked!

  12. I saw three people in masks this morning while shopping in North Florida. Those people were elderly. Interestingly, there are still a couple of people here and there that wear masks while walking down the street by themselves. It was 80 and sunny today. I’d say 95% maskless here or better. Has been for a long time. The “gun shine state”.

    1. If you see a single chick wearing a mask outside alone, she hasn’t had her bell rung for a long while.

      1. He means the Sainted Trucker Convoy has not only done sweet fuckall to restore the slightest bit of freedom from our fascist pig overlords, but triggered them into curtailing more of our freedoms. In other words, it was worse than big fucking fail, it accelerated our descent into a technocratic dictatorship.

        1. I beg to differ. If it weren’t for the protest, the provinces wouldn’t have dropped their mandates, or at least start talking about dropping their mandates, and the Tool would still be leading the opposition.

Remember… all that happened AFTER the truckers set up camp in downtown Ottawa.

    1. If enough people start withdrawing their money from the bank it won’t be long before the banks start squealing like little piggies. You don’t have to take it all out at once, $500, $600 a day….. if Prime Minister Blackface wants to see what an emergency looks like we have the power to show him.

      1. Local RBC ATM was empty a couple of hours ago.
I know a bank run is happening.
Just not a lot of talking about it online.

The first rule of bank runs is don’t talk about bank runs.

  13. People who continue to wear masks are victims of The Stockholm Syndrome. They have been brainwashed.

Gov’ts will notice this when they use the next Crisis Global Warming to enact new powers of restriction.

  14. I have stopped wearing a mask into stores, and no one has stepped up to challenge me. Just do it. Stop wearing your mask.

  15. Ontario still under a “State of Emergency”?
Which Ministry of Transport is still penalizing truckers?
Ontario should be going fully masked, full bag over head with two eye holes.
    Facial recognition denial.
As they beat their betrayers to pulp.
Instead they will have Mandates forever, endless emergency rule,to give the bureaus absolute power..
    New rules for all.

Sorry to say,I have nothing in common with our Eastern Comrades,I cannot support tyranny and will not be ruled by moronic children.
We have no common beliefs nor values to bind us.
Freedom still lives, outside the “State of Emergency”.
Corruption is not “business as usual”.

Buffalo will rise from the ashes of the Western Provinces.
Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump is our perfect Capitol, lest future governments forget they serve, not rule.

Dread Covid Theatre has shown us all things we have pretended not to know.
Can you “unsee” these last two years?
Are you going to “Forgive and forget”?
Are you ready to accept perpetual abuse of “Emergency Declarations” ?
    Only in this Confederated Kleptocracy.
