All Canadians need to hear what this man on the street has to say:
How come all protesters who grew up in communist dictatorships know precisely what is going on, yet so many Canadians choose to ignore the evil that is occurring right in front of their very eyes.

It’s only a matter of time before CPC bank accounts are frozen.
I guess it’s time to get the UN involved? Or will it turn its back?
The UN? Seriously?
Oh please.
The UN? Seriously? They would just bring the lube.
Happy now?
Enough children around there for the UN to molest them and sell them into the sex trade?
It is because they’ve been told all their lives that western nations are beacons of freedom and democracy and it is very difficult to accept that is now a lie. What else might the conspiracy analysts have been right about?
All is not lost though – I know people who are finally awakening. Pray enough do so in time.
When I told my relatives that the plague was leading to something like what we’ve got now, they wrote me off as a crackpot, attributing my “delusion” to too much university education or something like that.
Are any yet beginning to recognise you are not the delusional one?
I only had two immediate relatives left when this malarkey began. One has since died (that was several weeks after he recovered from the virus) and the other is an elderly aunt.
I rarely speak to her any more because of her stubborn refusal to accept what’s happening. Since she grew up under Adolph, she doesn’t think things are so bad. Mind you, I haven’t spoke to her since the St. Valentine’s Day Democracy Massacre.
How can one deal with such a mentality? Then again, she lives in Nanaimo.
“they’ve been told all their lives that western nations are beacons of freedom and democracy, and it is very difficult to accept that is now a lie”
Yes, this comment resonates. Many Boomers cannot wrap their heads around the idea that, the America they love, is sliding into a shit hole.
But…., because of Brexit, Donald Trump, and the Freedom Convoy, we know we are not alone.
Just following orders.
“How come all protesters who grew up in communist dictatorships know precisely what is going on, ”
because:
“It smells like communism”
If you want to freeze the bank account of criminal organizations I’ll nominate the LPC.
It’s a start
The general attitude of many Canadians I discuss this with is, “Oh, well….. What can you do about it?” and carry on as if nothing happened.
Worse, many will say they won’t be around so why worry about it. The children will grow up and think it is normal.
My mother was one. It was frustrating trying to talk about it with her. However, she did manage to run out the clock like she planned to.
Running out the clock is not a strategy. Leaving the grandchildren a totalitarian mess is unacceptable.
I’m glad that neither of my parents is around to experience what’s going on now. My mother died nearly a decade ago and was spared the indignity of seeing another Trudeau on the throne. My father departed in 2017, just before this idiocy truly began.
And, yet, there are people who wonder why I’m glad I never became a father…..
Agreed, Mike. I have 5 grandchildren (so far) and I am sick with fear.
If you do it right you have 5 wolverines who will participate in the rebellion.
I homeschooled my children, so I did try. Many lessons included warnings of encroaching totalitarianism. Sometimes they thought I was exaggerating; now they know I was not.
“The NDP Caucus in 1970 under Tommy Douglas took a courageous and principled stand against the War Measures Act.
Today’s @NDP under Jagmeet Singh betrays that legacy and supports Liberals on the Emergencies Act.
Shame. A very dangerous precedent is being set.”
Jagmeet: Who? What? 1970? That was YOUR day. Today is MINE.
I do believe the NDP is key to the current vote, they are also most vulnerable to the argument of supporting workers rights. I wish I could say the same about the conmen party. You can contact each NDP member, email addresses here
https://www.ourcommons.ca/members/en/search?caucusId=3&province=all&gender=all
It took me about an hour to draft an email copy it twenty five times and address it individually to each member, it would obviously take less time to send a group email, but i wanted it to look like an individual who just might not vote for them next time.
It was boring as hell, but freedom has a price.
There is a point here. I’m contacting every senator and MP. Annoying, but a cut and paste with some individual modifications (name, title) perhaps a comment if you scan their bio – looks legit. I expect little to nothing, but can’t hurt to try rather than just say “well, in the great world war… I shoveled shit in Louisiana.”
Nonetheless, one email to these idiots is worth nothing – 200 emails and the world is about to collapse around them.
Get in there! I have 37 done already – just taking a break – Senators and MP’s – all parties all provinces.
Besides, like my name in GiveSendGo, I’m proud to have my name out there. And I’ll probably lose my job over it, but . . .
Someone once said “At this point, what do you have to lose?” Don’t give a fuck anymore. Kinda freeing.
The look of shock they will have when they are no longer of use to Dear Leader.
The u.f.o. party? I will be surprised. There is a history. They are collectivists. This is for individuals.
“Jagmeet: Who? What? 1970? That was YOUR day. Today is MINE.”
And yet boomers are the ones accused of being selfish…
Trudeau’s bunker mentality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDMPDWt5vg4&t=239s
Definitely not the old normal now that Svend Robinson and I are agreeing on something. Wow.
I was thinking the same thing
Any cop that has not turned in his badge at this point or stood down will refuse no future orders. No matter what they will be.
We have officially crossed the rubicon
They’re not ignoring it per se. They just cannot and will not believe that it is now happening right before their eyes. His is Canada, our parents and grandparents went to war against totalitarian dictators.
Others lie to themselves so they may take comfort and believe the lies told to them by the legacy media.
Yet, here we are.
Denial. Not just a river in Egypt anymore.
The only escape we have from a full-blown communist government is the participation of all Canadians in the removal of Trudeau and all on his co-conspirators. We also need to fire all the members of the federal intelligence agencies that released (through a hacker) the names of the contributors. We need everybody to wake up, because Trudeau isn’t just a fool, he is dangerous.
Trudeau isn’t just a fool, he is dangerous.
Unfortunately, there are lots of people in this country just champing at the bit to take over and continue his “good work”.
Oh that reminds me, have to pick up come cottage cheese.
My normie friends believe every single thing the CBC says. I broke one of them by pointing out that “it’s a tiny number of malcontents that aren’t important” and “OMG they’re a terrible threat to the security of the country” aren’t reconcilable opinions.
The vast majority of Canadians – citizens of any Western nation, really – do not and cannot think. About anything. They just repeat what they’ve been told. In their jobs, their personal lives, their political leanings. They’re incapable of evaluating the evidence of their own senses and observing obvious cause and effect. Crimestop in action.
So many expect a re-run of Nazi Germany or the Bolshevik movie conquest that they can not recognize the new version of the that same thing. Deep, or even superficial, thought is too much, especially when it requires some effort. If the wolf is smart and goes “soft”, the sheep will not panic or respond. Then It will be too late, That is also how the Shepard and the sheep dog work the herd.
That worked at the slaughter house. It is all routine until the victim is facing the man with the power hammer. And he is just doing a job. The victim isn’t anything but a part of the job. “They” have learned a lot in the last decades, including not allowing the victim to think too much. It makes the job lots easier.
If you keep the chute clean they won’t rear up.
There are people on the streets of the capital that the bureaucrat class don’t like and don’t want there. So the bureaucrat class (your employees) bent YOUR Laws to throw-out the people they despise. They didn’t even have the balls to do it to your faces … they sent fully armed, jack-booted police to PUT DOWN a peaceful gathering of people the bureaucrat class loathes.
The bureaucrats are awkward children who were “bullied” and teased in school for being out of step with the majority. They grew up hating the majority. They loathe the majority. And now they have the retribution for all the hurt feelings of their childhoods.
“The duty of a leader is to serve their people, not for the people to serve them.” – Elon Musk, Feb 11
Hanging by a thread? That’s optimistic of you.
It’s a little strange to me that Singh isn’t aware he is in trouble on his messaging right now since the latest Nanos poll has the NDP down 7.4% (to the benefit of the PPC which experienced a “material increase”). But then again a “socialist” that wears a $15,000 Rolex and has his wife in a $2,000 rocking chair might not realize that workers freedoms literally built his party.
“It’s a little strange to me that Singh isn’t aware…”
It’s no surprise to me whatsoever that a politician is completely & entirely unaware.
Jagbert is just another self-interested opportunistic grifter out to grab all that he can with both hands, calling it “wealth re-distribution”.
Well the 1970 version of the NDP were responding to a crackdown on a leftist insurrection, so perhaps they were more likely to take that stand than the 2022 version will be, unless the realization hits home that today’s campaign against a libertarian-right grass roots movement could resemble tomorrow’s campaign against the sort of causes that they routinely support, either from this current government or some future Conservative government using the precedent set to do their own version.
There were also some widespread excesses with the War Measures Act where it was pretty obvious PET was rounding up a large number of people who were not directly involved with the FLQ. If something similar to that starts happening then opinions may change in the NDP. For now I would not expect them to be very helpful to the cause of individual freedom and an end to the mandates, if the BC government is anything to go by, the rank and file of the NDP are very supportive of the mandates, can’t get enough of them.
For every Karen in the Liberal Party there are probably half a dozen in the NDP. Think teacher union.
If something similar to that starts happening then opinions may change in the NDP.
Only if it happens to their people.
Yes, while the War Measures Act was justified, in the sense that the FLQ threat was clearly serious and already dangerous but could not yet be fully assessed, it turned out not to have been necessary. The FLQ were in fact taken down by the normal police processes already operating at the time of the invocation, which weren’t seriously affected, let alone assisted, by the extraordinary measures. All those went to hounding and bashing Trudeau’s enemies.
I told you Tamara Lich would end up in jail.
She thought she could just roll into Ottawa with Pat King and the rest of the Trumpist thugs and take down a 150-year-old democracy. Turns out 80% of Canadians want this coup attempt to be crushed, and now it’s happening.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
That’s all the response tripe like this warrants.
You just took down your “democracy.”
While your neighbor to the south is having all mandates drop. So are other parts of the world.
The air we breathe doesn’t stop at the border. All this for a man-made illness with a 99% survival rate.
It is the government that is talking down democracy — going on 2 years now– and 2/3 of Canadians agree it is time to lift the mandates. They are absolutely pointless now, and Trudeau’s stubborn refusal to negotiate confirms he is not fit for office.
He’s not following the science. That’s the best part.
So, how much is Soros paying you?
Are you the new resident troll or tranny?
I can only assume your mask wearing has impeded the flow of oxygen to your brain. No rational human being would type such drivel. Either that, or you are a troll of perhaps an imbecile. Take your pick.
Just read that the House of Commons will not be debating Emperor Justine’s New Clothes today cause….some lame excuse from the Enablers of this Fool.
Gets simpler each day.
As my choices evaporate, the path forward forms and hardens.
Now looking of a catch logo that states,”I could have been left alone”.
For when human parasites explode in population, they seem to believe they are necessary to the ecosystem they exploit.
Rather than a crushing drain,on the vitality of said system.
I let my MP and Ms. Bergen know that they let us down by agreeing to cancelling today’s sitting.
How did we get if not by design?
If Trudeau’s handlers didn’t want Canada right where we are now, how did we get here?
How many holes in the Swiss cheese had to line up?
Are Trudeau’s handlers disappointed that they now have Canada essentially under martial law?
I believe it’s been in the works the moment they made him an electoral candidate. The name and the cult following was the key.
The last two years leading up to today are really the endgame.
Don’t expect another election if the invoking of the Emergency Act is approved.
Naomi Wolfe has an insightful essay on what we are facing. I like her because she is a leftist who has seen the light. The parallels with Nazi Germany are chilling, and not easily dismissed:

FWIW
My email to Singh:
Dear Sir,
You have taken the side of the Prime Minister, a dictator-in-waiting who is mentally unstable and leading a party of sociopaths.
Freezing bank accounts of government “enemies” is a totalitarian response.
Dissent is not illegal. Stealing people’s wealth is illegal.
Police checkpoints in Ottawa means I am now living in a Police State.
I cannot thankyou for your public service. You serve the interests of the Liberal Party and Canadian democracy is dead.
Jack Layton has rolled over in his grave.
You and this version of the New Democratic Party are a national and historical disgrace.
I think its important to attack Juthtin’s flank.
Attack the NDP with everything and pretend you’re a lefty SoS when doing it.
The little bit of homo-shaming at the end is a real kicker.
The NDP staffers will look at this sand say, “another as*hole”.
And they’ll be right.
Hey Bradley, bugger off. The sane people are here.
I may be an asshole, don’t really care, but that’s way above you, Shitchunk.
Singh will be Canada’s hero if he votes against Trudeau on Monday in the House. During the resulting election he will be able to boast that he and the NDP saved Canada from the Liberals.
I did send an email to Mr. Singh appealing to his sensibilities. He holds the cards and needs persuasion. If he realises that the new dictator can and likely will throw him under the bus, he will think twice. How soon will someone be punished for donating to the NDP? These are things that he does not want. How many supporters found themselves in front of the firing squad when the strong man starts consolidating his power. Doesn’t matter how much you pledge allegiance, if he perceives you a rival, you’re toast.
If you ever wondered who would be more likely to come to your side, military or police? Consider this. Soviet Generals, way past their best before date decided to resuscitate the dying Soviet Union. After arresting Gorbachev they sent tanks into downtown Moscow. The people went and mixed in with the army. All soldiers refused the orders to fire on civilians. Losing their gamble, the Generals surrendered. The police, on the other hand, are not your friends.
