This is happening to my family members.

Hate calls and hate email continue today. Any ideas how to combat this?

This is my advice, and my life’s guiding principle.

“What good is that?”

“It isn’t to our advantage, if that’s what you mean. However, it’s pleasurable to cast a line into the future, no matter how tenuously. You never know, the line may be unbroken all the way to the last judgment…. Nicolo, mischief is important….”

  1. File complaints with police for harassment. Once that happens the phone companies can release the calling records and determine who is behind them. But they will need to follow through with criminal charges.

      Perhaps, copies of these threats from self proclaimed tolerant people, should be forwarded on not only to local law enforcement, but also sent on to elected representatives of all parties. I can think of no better illustration of how much division and hate, DEAR LEADER has inspired with his handling of the “small fringe minority”.

  2. On the Reddit forums one angry leftist is going through the GiveSendGo data and putting together a searchable database of all the Sasktel email addresses along with their names and amount given. Of course, all the progressive Redditors were just giddy and could barely contain their excitement about bombarding them with hate mail and if they are businesses, adding them to their list of places to boycott and hit with negative and 1 star reviews. I am actively trying to find a way out of this country as I don’t recognize it anymore, and the left simply terrifies me. And to think in their heads they are the good guys.

    1. Yep, it’s a garbage country full of garbage people. My wife and I are also exploring what options we have to leave as well. All Covid did was just speed up the decline of Canada.

  3. This has all been condoned in advance by the Prime Minister of Canada who, by using the same words as so many vile dictators before him, declared dissidents worthy of extrajudicial punishment. He knew his supporters would commit crimes against dissidents. He practically begged them to do so. Justin Trudeau is a criminal.

  4. This is so wrong, have known and done business with the Dutton’s since the early 90s. They have been pillars of their local communities and have traded pulse commodities around the world. This country has lost its way when people like this are questioned of their moral and ethical foundation. A multi million dollar farm and they may attempt to freeze their accounts.   9. Just ignore and they’ll go away frustrated that they didn’t get an intended action.
    Standing up to a bully has worked extremely efficiently for me in the public setting.
    If not, you’ll become a victim of continued harassment as they’ve gotten satisfaction from your reaction.

    I’m a pip squeak compared to some situations that I figured to be pounded into hamburger meat but turned it around from the intimidation and staved off physical confrontation.

    In a different situation, the cops had to warn of stalking and criminal harassment charges could be laid if the other parties continued. That worked extremely well!

  10. If their farm has 2 hired hands, I’m thinking they are a pretty big operation (++ $1 million). I think the comments made to the Leader Post were along the lines of a polite “we back the truckers”. After all, this is Paynton. The Leader Post writer wanted a story and used the comments to complete a template.

    If the media calls, no comment.

    Dinosaur’s recommendation to report the hate crimes is probably the best legal idea.
    Especially if you have a vicious and vindictive lawyer to help you fight the system.

    1. These aren’t hate crimes, they are crimes period. It is illegal to use a phone to harass people. Phone companies use to police this on their own by taking customer complaints and threatening to cut repeat offenders off. That ended, probably some liability the phone company was taking on by denying service to someone without going through legal channels. This then fell to law enforcement and in order to get action a criminal complaint must now be lodged.

    1. I have no problems with that and would even go with burning. From a guy who was pretty ticked at the time Atlanta did that during the World Series. I’m with the Red Ensign.

  18. Canadians always like to think they are morally superior to Americans. Well the hatred coming from the left against ordinary Canadians puts an abrupt end to that myth. It seems Americans are a lot more tolerant of political differences and recognize tyranny when they see it. Remember the outrage from the left when Harper proposed a ” help” line for families facing things like forced marriages — dubbed a ” snitch line” by leftist media. Well, look who the snitches are now. There is no crawling back from this disgusting treatment of non- violent protestors and their freedom loving supporters. Canada is not a good country to live in anymore. Government tyranny reigns, and people no longer support one another.

I’m waiting for a GiveSendGo campaign to raise money to bring suit on behalf of all the donors against Twitter for allowing the publication of the hacked information. It clearly goes against Twitters terms of service, but they allowed it anyway. Maybe another GSG fundraiser to hire private detectives to unmask the harassers and seek prosecution?

  27. My name and donation is on both the Go Fund Me, and the Give Send Go websites. If they come for me, I do not intend to go out quietly, or on my knees. I donated to a cause I believe in, and as a free person, I stand by my choice. If they come, they had better be ready to do battle, because I will equally be ready to battle!

    I have lived the majority of my life, and don’t really have a lot of years left. As has been stated elsewhere, The older I get, the less life imprisonment is a threat to me. If they want to take me out, I intend to take one or two of them with me, just so they know there is an undeniable cost to their plans.
