  15. Tried to go to Coutts yesterday afternoon. The police have blocked the highway a couple kilometers south of Milk
    River. So protestors have set up camp in the median just north of the police. Rigs, tractors and cars parked on the shoulders and ditches but the two driving lanes are clear so vehicles can cruise down to the police barricade and then back to Milk River. A real company picnic atmosphere. People milling about, bbqs, piles of firewood, porta potties, RVs,music and and dozens of kids lining for their turn in the bouncy castle. Police very friendly and polite. Some walking around chatting to people.
    Never got a sense of any animosity between protestors and the police. It was like both sides were wishing that they didn’t have to be there.

    1. Exactly. This is a protest against the upper ruling class. They don’t care about what we want or like. Protesters attacking the needs of the working class doesn’t bother them at all.
