      1. VOWG, and just who do the police work for? The visit by the OPP constable warning the woman about her posting on Facebook that led to the visit to issue a warning about attending the protest rally proves that the police have a contract with Facebook to monitor and then alert them when the algorithms detect certain ‘unwarranted’ discussions. It would seem that the local police forces have entered into a financial contract with Facebook and are paying for this with taxpayers dollars. The algorithms are put in place with definitive purpose, not by a selection of community leaders that we can elect and remove from office should they over reach their authority, rather the monitoring is done by some one behind the curtain that we know nothing about, and their agenda is diametrically opposed to our freedoms and liberties.

      Though I did wonder if it was possible given media distortions (snipers on rooftops?), my appreciation and regard for the truckers and the benefit they have provided this country as winter descended on sleepy Canada eclipses any protest, exposing statist intransigence.

      The Great Divider has been divided, within his party, now the media to a small extent but most importantly the nation at large.

      But, Canadians are still tapping their toes and looking at their watches waiting for some politician to step up and take the reins.

      Another golden opportunity to serve Canadians and win their favour squandered, like clean water for Natives – lib lite Conservatives.

  8. On Monday I got a text from “Sue” of the PC Ontario Fund asking if the Ontario Progressive Party could count on my support in this year’s election. The text asks for a Yes or No reply. (Why I was contacted I have no idea.)
    I replied No and I realize its pointless but a few minutes ago I replied again with something more “in depth”. Felt good nonetheless.

      Good for you. I have told my “representative” to ask Pfizer, Moderna, etc. for funding, as it appears that he is already working for them.

      I have also told both of the post secondary schools I attended the same thing, and have halted all funding to them PERMANENTLY. stating their stance on FREEDOM of choice.

  13. IMHO Ford missed an incredible opportunity to resolve this protest in Ontario be meeting with the Truckers and start removing the mandates and useless lockdowns. Masks don’t work and the vaccine is causing more trouble than not. I have had the 3 shots and will not take anymore. Crisis time for Canada.

      Agree. Ford had the opportunity to be a Canadian and International hero , if he had come out and removed all COVID mandates for Ontario , but instead the guy is a stupid coward, and orders in the cops.

      I suspect this will become a PR disaster for Ford.

      1. Ford or whoever is advising him must have $hit for brains. They have had two weeks to see how ineffective were the threats and show of force of the cops in Ottawa , so what do they do … repeat the same approach at the Ambassador Bridge.

        If you look at it logically , once Ford issues the orders to the OPP to clear the protestors , there are only two outcomes …
        a) The cops go in arrest everyone , and it may become violent , with the result it is an absolute PR disaster and nothing changes. The blockade probably remains in some form , such as all trucks traveling at 10Km/hr or working from home.
        b) The cops perform a show of force and nothing happens. Again a PR disaster for both the cops and Ford. The blockage remains.

        Either way , at some point Ford will be forced to back down and remove the mandates in Ontario. The fact that he couldn’t see that speaks to a stupid elitist from old money.

          c) The blockade and protestors slowly and peacefully leave. Truckers cross the bridge slowly (but not so slow as to be fined) or work from home. The auto industry supply chain is still disrupted.

          I doubt there will be a big protest at the Detroit side as that is a really tough zone where the protestors are likely to be mugged. It is where the 1970’s Detroit riots occurred.

          My approach with the coming Ontario election is to donate to both the Ontario Party and the New Blue Party and vote for the one which is most likely to win , in the hope that enough win a seat so that the PC’s are reduced to a bare minority or less and can only retain power with the cooperation of the new political arrivals.

          It is a long shot but voting out the PC’s will allow the NDP crazies back in power.
