When you go after the kids, the gloves come off.
Bonnie the hero nerd Henry announced more punitive measures tonight. BC is going to have a lot more issues at the border and in general. Punishing the peasant will have consequences
I’ve been able to buy groceries in Fort St. John without a mask. Nobody at the Save-On Foods, not staff, not customers, have said anything. Although I’m not alone in doing that, though we’re in the minority.
Bonnie is clearly unhinged. A so-called vaccine that no longer works, but still being forced on people. It’s like getting last years flu shot.
Her strategy is to use the leverage of credentialism. She finds some whores or cretins who are at the top of the various professional bodies, and “convinces” them they need to have everyone vaxxxed or they lose their professional licence. Take today. Chiropractors. They have a licencing body, which has now demonstrated to be corruptable and now the Chiropractors leadership has thrown their membership under the bus. Dentists too. so who is next? Veterinarians, security guards, then cops and firemen. I think the folks should not fight the Killer Queen, they should head over to their licencing bodies and start making noise with them.
For the first time in twenty five years of marriage my wife did not complain when I used the “c” word.
Maybe Bonnies home in James Bay, Victoria is deserving of some all night horn treatment.
We are long past her idiotic “listen to the science” phase, empirical data alone shows double vaccs are not only ineffective but harmful to many, many countries have removed mandates and passports but decrepid Bonnie loves to hang onto her power trip. Horgan if anything is worse, totally abdicating his responsibility.
Don’t forget the rat behind the curtain, Comrade Adrian Dix… Dix writes the scripts.
Don’t need the horns to slow roll her home.
Peaceably close her home to any and all persons. KFC deliveries included.
Would be a shame if something happened to her electrical supply, though.
Just realize how traumatic such actions are for the Media.
They are protesting at the NB Premiers house and the wailings, lamentations and palpitations of the local media are a sight to see.
Poor haters.
Lance…
Funny that, same thing has happened in this household – even SHE used the word..!! & on more than one occasion.
Applies to far too many in this country.

I’m hearing that trucker protests “could” occur in the US on Super Bowl Sunday. I’m guessing that the lack of definitive info available to the media is a result of organization via CB radio rather than conventional social media. If this is true, then the truckers have given us another gift, the knowledge that we would do well to invest in personal two-way SB/Ham radio stations. Of course transmissions can be monitored, but they can’t be censored or easily traced to individuals.
Of course transmissions can be monitored, but they can’t be censored or easily traced to individuals.
Considerable effort would be needed to locate the source of a transmission. Fox-hunting is a recreational activity that some hams engage in where a hidden transmitter has to be located by means of radio direction finding. I’ve never done it myself, but I’ve heard that it can be quite tricky.
Transmissions could be jammed on given frequencies, but that, again, could take a lot of resources. Besides, it’s illegal, not that the government cares about laws any more.
BADR, you obviously have some skill and experience in this field. I have a rather rudimentary WX/AIR/SB/SSB receiver that I play with occasionally, but I have been considering for quite some time a two way radio. I don’t have a large budget or room for a desk full of equipment. I’d love to hear some of your advice and equipment recommendations, perhaps the mods here would allow you a thread. I sincerely believe that radio communication will become critical at some point in the future.
Just about any general coverage receiver that has both amplitude modulation (AM) and single sideband (SSB) would be suitable for monitoring citizen’s band traffic. The part of the spectrum that’s been allocated for CB channels is around 27 MHz and, since CB operates in AM, it should be easy enough to listen to.
Many manufacturers have now abandoned that market. For many years, Sony produced a line of low-budget receivers and they were, in general, of good quality. Sangean, a Taiwanese brand, came into the business about 40 years ago, well after Sony, but it has a good reputation. Grundig (or, now Eton Grundig) is another one.
Scanners should work as well. Companies like Uniden and Bearcat are still making them.
Nearly every amateur radio equipment manufacturer produced dedicated receivers, but any transceiver should work as well. Watch for names like ICOM, Yaesu, and Kenwood (who still make ham gear) as well as Hammerlund, Hallicrafters, Drake, and Collins (who don’t any more–Hammerlund and Hallicrafters have long gone out of business).
Any number of ham swap-and-shop websites carry second-hand amateur radio gear, but it can be expensive. Most people should find something affordable on eBay. I suggest to look for one that covers the spectrum to at least the amateur 10 metre band (up to 30 MHz) and has a digital readout.
Remember, though, that one doesn’t need a license to operate on the CB frequencies, but, legally, one needs amateur certification to transmit on the ham bands.
How would this be BA..??

Portable Transceiver
That one looks like a good choice.
Hand-held transceivers are quite popular with hams. (I’ve got 3 of them myself.) They’re self-contained as they have antennas, though one can connect an external one. Most have an internal microphone, but, depending on the radio and the manufacturer, one can use an optional external unit.
As for range, keep in mind that those radios work best by line of sight. From my 7th floor balcony, I can reach repeaters 100 km away using a 5 Watt signal.
On that same page, there are listings for some other CB transceivers, though I think they’re designed for mobile operation. You’d need a suitable external antenna to transmit, though a random length wire would probably be good enough for reception.
Several years ago, some former tenants in my building gave me a Uniden transceiver that they won in a raffle. I bought an external whip antenna, though I’ve never been on the air with it.
Here’s something that slipped my mind earlier. Older CB rigs had, I think, 20 or 22 channels. A few years ago, that was expanded to 40.
At least 2 channels have been designated for specific use. Channel 9 is for emergency traffic and Channel 19 is for road conditions. The other ones, as far as I know, are for general communications or rag-chewing.

The labour-union bosses oppose the truckers protests:

Conservatives in Canada (me included) have learned a lot from the truckers during the last several weeks. According to the book “The Republican Workers Party” supporting workers is the way to go. Trump said as much.

In this essay, Mr. Gavin suggests that Mark Carney’s savage G&M attack against the Freedom Convoy might not have been the best idea. Carney headed up two central banks, and currently manages a $600-bilion ESG fund for Brookfield Asset Management. A clash of income disparities surely.
Oh boy, that gave me even more reason to fear Carney entering politics.
Authoritarian and climate change cuckoo.
Carney is one evil pos mofo.
