  1. How about that eh..??

A Pravda Poll goes horribly wrong…!!
91% against Ottawa City for their knee jerk response.

  2. Does it matter? If they don’t like the results of an informal poll they’ll just bury it.

  3. Let me fix the title of the poll: was Ottawa right in formally engaging in a game of whack-a-mole with large numbers of insurgents?

  4. Right now:
No, people have a right to protest. 91.69% (73,178 votes)
Yes, it could give the city the power it needs to quell the protests. 7.77% (6,201 votes)
    I don’t know, I need more information. 0.54% (435 votes)

I think the 435 is Ottawa City Council.

  5. That’s handy. I received an email from a family member informing me that this was a terrible time for Canada (because truckers).
She sent a picture , not a link, of an article from the TorStar by Robin Sears. Yeah…that was going to convince me alright…
I am composing a peaceful response which will include a link to that poll to let her know she is part of a fringe minority.

    1. I guess it depends on what you feel is important. Liberty or being inconvenienced.

Send her the vid of Castreau’s comments trashing the Canadian flag and name-calling or/libeling/slandering and what was happening on the ground not tainted by the media.

Just tell her if you want to discuss this rationally and calmly I’m here have a good day.

For me there was a great sign on one of those videos and it might’ve been in that one. It said “My grandfather did not fight Nazism for me to show my papers.”

If she doesn’t understand that you should also send her the video are we the baddies?

      Good luck.

      1. Thanks!! I was going to ask for suggestions. Will try yours.
Many vids to choose from for sure.

    1. As is my habit I open links from places like the Red Star in a browser that requires permission to run each and every script and whoo boy does that page have a ton of scripts.
Normally I would add my single vote (and screen snap the results) but have to pass on this commie website.

  6. Right now the Coward Of The Cottage, has his lapdog cabinet ministers holding a virtual press conference. Lots of talk trashing the truckers, and ranting against any MPs that support them. One of the themes is that they are evil for blockading roads and bridges. Strange, that wasn’t the message when Indians were doing it. The police were giving gifts of maple syrup.

    1. “The police were giving gifts of maple syrup.”

And therein lies the problem! We forgot the maple syrup! Of course!!!

  7. Its nice to see that the ratio hasn’t changed since early this am.
Like a Democrat, I’ve voted 4 times now.

  8. Interesting that so many Star readers do not like the concept of individual freedom.

  9. It’s not going well for the Star.

It really is amazing to me just how utterly out-of-touch our legacy media has become over the course of my lifetime. Or maybe I’m just wiser now than when I was a stripling.

  10. Shouldn’t be an emergency session of the Parliament to remove PM from office?
Or is there a way for Gov General to dismiss him?
This is dereliction of duty, he’s effectively MIA.
In private sector, if you’re not at your job like that, you’re fired effective immediately.

    1. A majority of MPs in the House of Commons would have to pass a motion of non-confidence in the Liberal government. To do that they need the NDP and the BLOC to vote in favour. That is not going to happen.

They are all limousine socialists who are paid up members of the Laurentian elite and like the Grits they have contempt for the “Unacceptables” otherwise known as the Canadian working class. Justin Trudeau is a silver-spoon, narcissistic, ideologue who thinks his turds don’t stink. His venomous rhetoric is particularly rancid for protestors who originate from the West. Jagmeet Singh, with his bigoted “white bloodline” smear of the truckers, is another example of the odious ilk. They drip with hypocritical, virtue signaling, treacle, and are all for the people until the people get uppity and contravene the “progressive” narrative.

      Honk for freedom.

  11. I think it was Scott Adams who said 5% of people who respond to polls are mentally imbalanced so you have to subtract them out right away. That leaves 4% (heading to 3%) who agree with the emergency declaration. If I was running for office ….

    1. Actually he says that 25% of all people get polls absolutely wrong, but I get your point.

  12. Jordan Peterson has alleged that he has it on good knowledge that the Pols, all of them across the spectrum, are making Covid policy on the basis of constant public opinion polling. I’ll take him at face value as he is obsessed with truth and doing the right thing.

If that is the case, and we are seeing poll results like the Red Star above, I would hope we see some course correction soon. God bless the truckers et al for hopefully waking up some slice of the populace to the idea that they are not alone in their displeasure with things, that the time for having a stiff upper lip and doing it for the common good has passed.

I hate the MSM more then ever now. Listening to and or watching all the big shooters in the Canadian media scene with their soft de-platforming of the protests. They’ll all endlessly talk about the “occupation” but none of them will even see fit to engage the substance of the protest and even if and when they do, the aim to drown it out aggressively with so called “balanced” reporting. It’s anything but balanced, it’s totally skewed and anybody who sees it up close and personal knows this beyond a shadow of a doubt.

There has been a total abdication of leadership by the political class, lending their support and authority to the so called experts to whom the entire world presents as a nail awaiting their lockdown hammer. Utterly disgraceful and worthy of all possible contempt.

Pols, repent, seek forgiveness and change course, NOW!

    1. I have a theory.
The pols where intending to lift the restrictions in a way that they could be seen as the white knights. And depending on when that level of government is heading to the polls also has a bearing on the great opening, as well as what political party they are beholden to.
What happened is that if they lifted those mandates and restrictions after the truckers demands then they can’t take credit for it.
Damn fools every one of them.
Put an immediate end to the emergency measures which would also rescind the powers of the medical officers.
That would allow the protests to end and guaranteed after a 24 hour cycle everyone would forget about any trucker protest.
Ah but pride keeps them from doing it.
And nobody does conceited pretentious pride like the sock monkey.
Remind me again what comes before the fall?

I was sure surprised to learn that websites keep track of your doings on their websites on your computer…..

  13. This is one of those be careful what you wish for.
This is a real grassroots protest against tyranny, I support it.
How about other protests, are blm and anti Canada protests allowed this far?

  14. The only thing you can do about the LSM is take a page out of what happened to MSNBC last week. Biden went to New York, the reporter was reporting from New York and their were two different individuals one with an umbrella let’s go Brandon and a lot of other things on it and a black guy I think carrying a cardboard sign also trashing Biden and there was also some yelling in the background while the reporter was talking. You have to disrupt the reporters on the ground. Stand in the background with CB lies or some such saying.

  15. OK, fill me in people — who’s freeping that poll? TorStar polls usually pull just a few hundred votes.

Did Posobeic or someone link to it?
