Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I was about to give up on Canada. This gives me a glimmer of hope.
Smart move bringing 4 legend transportation with heated seats.

The horses left the highway all piled up with liberals!
Help me understand … what is being blocked? And by whom? The police are blocking the road to the Border? But so are the Canadian Patriots? I’m confused?
From what I have been told, the “Sheriffs” are the ones trying to block the highways. They are members of the Alberta Union of Public Employees union. Probably to help the socialist opposition leader Rachel Notley. Her husband is Gil McGowan who heads the Alberta Federation of Labour, another rat bastard commie.
It seems the RCMP are just there because someone told them to. From a source I can trust, the Mounties seem to be on board with the protest.

Rachael Notley’s husband is Lou Arab.
I love what’s happening in our country
I’ve never been so proud!
But I am concerned that the left may do something really stupid. They are like an animal, backed into a corner. Mean, angry, and running out of options.
If they start biting and eating each other, maybe that may buy us more time
We need to be careful, and stay on the high road
Lance they have been doing something stupid since Marx raised his ugly head from the slime.
Vowg. True, they are consistent in that respect
Hold the line, boys. Hold the line!
By fear, nor sorrow will we be confined.
This is our moment, this is our time, to,
Hold the line, boys. Hold the line!
Although today, we may fall,
It’s sure tomorrow we will lose all, if we don’t,
Hold the line, boys. Hold the line!
It’s not for fame or glory we fight,
But for children and grandchildren we press our might.
Hold the line, boys. Hold the line!
And in memory of ancestors, who gave their all,
When we were the children they wanted standing tall.
Hold the line, boys. Hold the line!
Hold the line, boys. Hold the line!
By fear, nor sorrow will we be confined.
This is our moment, this is our time, to,
Hold the line, boys. Hold the line!
That is very moving.. a nice piece of poetry, kfg.
Thank you!
DITTO.
“Hold the line boys” came, I believe, from the truckers.
A great, emotionally powerful line upon which kfg has built a wonderful poem/ballad/song.
I can hear Stan Rogers, RIP, singing kfg’s words.
I’m a hobbyist songwriter. I have learned that a good strong line to start, which often emerges while singing dummy placeholder lyrics, is half the battle.

Leaked emails show UCP caucus frustration with Jason Kenney.
Its from 3 days ago.

At 30 seconds of this 2 minute video
“Just a thought, defuse the border confrontation and remove the REP (Restrictions Exemption Program) as of midnight, two birds with one stone.
How is it that the ENTIRE CAUCUS agrees to a solution and it can be ignored?”
David Hanson MLA Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St Paul.
“100% agree Dave, the caucus has spoken yet the executive council decides otherwise? ”
Glen van Dijken
“We are the gov’t that works for the people and we damn well should be doing what they want. Who is running the show??”
Angela Pitt
Hey, Kenji.
From what I understand, the hiway is no longer being entirely blocked. I believe this is at least partly in response to the Liar Kenney’s accusations of illegal blockade. One lane each way, last I heard. I don’t know if the horses are acting as a slow roll or not, difficult to make that out.
The RCMP are screening travelers coming into the area on all paved (Hiway 4) & gravel (500, 4 mile road, 501 east & west, etc.) roads. I haven’t talked to any protestors who have been refused, but I have talked to a number of friends who live in the area passing through the checkpoints. The difficulty for the locals is that most rural residents have a box number at the post office, not an address. So, when the cops ask for an address to verify, they can’t. Most of them know their land description (quarter, section, township) but that doesn’t mean anything to the cops, either.
Get rid of Kenney and you’ll get Notely. Which is what more than likely will happen.
I don’t have faith in the Alberta voter.
That’s the same sentiment I posted the other day too. I fear that woman, big time.
She’s just waiting to punish Alberta for having the audacity to toss her out of office and then visiting Hell upon us. She could scare what’s-her-name in New Zealand.
Yup. Peace. Enough is enough.
Unless the WIP crawls out of the hole they’ve been hiding in for the last two years, we’re getting Red Rachel, period. If, by some act of God, the Liar Kenney survives a leadership review, the UCP will not get re-elected. He’s pissed off both sides of the spectrum, a rare feat in politics. Even if he does get the hob-nailed, steel-toed boot, which he most assuredly deserves, the UCP’s chances of re-election are slim.
Personally, I will not vote for them no matter who the leader is. Even strategically to ward off Red Rachel. I flatly refuse to reward bad behavior.
And, if Red Rachel does get elected, on the very first day she takes office she must find every single street in Edmonchuk blocked by semis, farm tractors, cars, trucks, airplanes, people, go-carts, dogs, cats, hamsters, field mice, pet alligators, what have you. And nobody moves until we get some shit straight, starting with, “We will not be ruled, Bitch!!!”.
We can fire Kenney Apr 9 and that would give enough time for a new leader to be elected for the next election.
It’s like every day of this is a happy and glorious Canada Day without any elected sociopaths to spoil it all by reminding Canadians of their Wuhan Lab virus or faux climate-crisis-induced serfdom “imposed for their own good”.
Those are local ranchers and ranch hands. Look at the rigging no parade saddles. Cow horses.
Those are working cowboys. Looks good on ’em.
That the Freedom Convoy picked the coldest month of the year to do this says something.
Left Saskatchewan, late Friday afternoon, managed to make it to Bow Island for a night then proceeded to Milk River in the morning. Can feel the energy before you even arrive! Stopping at a red light in Taber beside another individual with flags waving and you look at each other and crack a smile with a thumbs up before proceeding on green.
Vehicles with flags not passing on the way to Milk River traveling 90k just taking it all in that this is something bigger than we could have imagined a month ago.
Arriving in Milk River protest and only by coincidence as we are moving slowly south looking for a place to park the horseback convoy left the yard to the south west. That feeling was indescribable and brought many to tears as they rode slowly eastward towards the highway.
This was a parade, carnival type of atmosphere but people wanted to share, they wanted to communicate, not avoid. The crowd represents all ages with no confrontation, animosity or resentment that was evident to us. Three riders left towards Coutts, and no attempt to stop them. Asked an RCMP member if we could walk the 15k south, his reply was yes but we do not recommend it. Recognized the RC members last name as Keller and questioned of his origin as that last name is common in Central Saskatchewan area, he knew of them in that area but came from interior BC. We spoke to each other with genuine interest and opinions of protests and what the country is facing. Gave him a pat on the back and thanked him for his service. My reason for stating this is quit calling them pigs on here, we need them and insults just lowers you to our current prime ministers level.
The 7 hour drive was well worth the effort and would recommend this to anyone who has not immersed themselves in any of the current convoy protests.
Last week a familiar local handyman contractor of our small town was found dead laying in a snow bank outside of his home. I will miss him very much, but the takeaway is the clarity that everyone will have that day, so embrace these days we are seeing unfold in front of us and be FREE!
Five real powerful words when backed up. NO WE WILL NOT COMPLY.
I don’t think protest’s do any good. What is Turd Jr. doing without? A protest against liberals while waving the liberal rag of eastern Canada boggles the mind.
