The RCMP lost ALL of my respect back in 1988 when a number of them were caught burning down barns in Quebec, in order to implicate the FLQ. I disagreed with the FLQ, did not like their methods, but I was totally appalled and ashamed of our national police force resorting to illegal activities in order to entrap certain people.
If they can do that to one group, then what is to stop them from doing it to you!

If the government fascists get rough with the truckers and escalate, where are the cities going to get their food from?
There has always been an easy and politically workable ‘out’ that the governments can use at any time: Get rid of the mandates.
If they drive the truckers to stop hauling food to the cities the government will be asked why they didn’t simply remove the mandates.
It is a simple, workable, scientific, and logical way to end this.
Politicians, especially pathological narcissists like Trudeau are incapable of backing down. They cannot, under any circumstances, admit the might have erred and they certainly cannot abide disobedience by the peasants. It’ll take outsiders quietly tapping on their shoulders and telling them the political funding has dried up and it’s time to go with a modicum of dignity.

OK, updates, updates, updates.
Had to make a flying trip up to Cowtown this AM. On Hiway 2, just south of Claresholm, about 7:45. Met two big tandem wreckers southbound. Quarter mile behind them was a flat deck hauling two semi tractors. ‘Nother half mile & there were two more tractors pulling flat decks, each with two flat decks stacked on top.
Now, I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but if the bastards are having a tough time getting local tow operators without Towvid-19, this was enough gear to get a good start. Don’t know if they were all together or even if they were headed to Coutts. Just seemed all a bit too neat.
On the way back home, took the Hiway 519 cutoff between Hiway 2 & Hiway 23, from Granum to Nobleford. About a mile away from the intersection of 519 & 23 we can see a line of traffic extending from the south & the north. Tractor/trailers, farm equipment, cars, etc. There’s a large traffic circle at that intersection. Get close, there’s a dozen or more pieces of farm equipment doing a slow roll through the traffic circle & off the exits. Tractors, payloaders, etc. -23 out, window down, thumb’s up, on the horn, 3/4 of a mile, at least.. Had to put a glove on halfway through.
It was beautiful. Waves & honking back, save for a few sourpusses caught in the middle. Perfect location. There are two main routes to Calgary from Lethbridge, Hiway 2 and Hiway 23. This affects a lot of people. It looks like it just sprang up a few minutes prior to that. Couldn’t confirm any cop presence, but there may have been one southbound on the north side of the traffic circle. Hard to tell from a distance. Had the correct colour & outline for an RCMP Suburban.
En route we caught the great news that The Stool is out. Kenney the Liar needs to be next.
