  2. Canadians don’t love Canada…..they love the idea of Canada.
    We will continue to circle the bowl until we are defeated…..I just don’t think there are enough clear thinking people who cherish what our forefathers have given us.

    1. I’d actually have to agree with that.
      I grew up on a farm with a river on one side and traveled up to our trapping grounds where there was freedom and no laws and quite a happy and healthy lifestyle.
      Joined the Military and was very good passing the training and being disciplined. It was fairly a happy time too until the politicians decided more and more of your freedom you had.
      Really taking the fun and enjoyment out of living free.
      It really started to change my insight as I was fighting for the love of my country. It was changing to fighting for our politicians interests and not for the actual Peacekeeping I was doing at that time.

    3. The idea of Canada? What is that? Rationed healthcare? Bad doughnuts? A Maple Leaf flag bumper sticker? French on cereal boxes?

      Israel is a nation—a people with a common cultural heritage, a will to defend it to the death, and nowhere else to go.

      Canada is a poorly-run hotel, inhabited by the losers of the planet’s wars—American Tories, French/Indian halfbreeds, Lesser Russian Nazis, Islamist and Sikh murderers. Most of its white inhabitants would be richer and happier in the United States, and know it.

      It’s a rare one who will be daft enough to stand on guard for the True North when President Trump or DeSantis decides he no longer wants a Chinese satellite state next door.

      1. Well, I certainly don’t love Canada the way it currently is. And I haven’t for a damn long time. Nor do I love the idea of Canada. Frankly, “Canada” is lost to me. The quicker Alberta goes independent, the better.

  3. It seems like Public Works has conducted a poll to justify more work for them. I guess they will make works of art and statues of empty rye bottles, broken shacks and 4×4 SUVs with giant screen TVs.

  7. I’d like to see a cage match between Extinction Rebellion and the Indians on pay per view. Winner gets one week vacation in Toronto, loser gets two week vacation in Toronto. (I recycle old jokes because it’s good for the environment)

  8. I no longer recognize Canada’s colonial provincial, federal or municipal governments.
    Now, if I wish to open a restaurant, bar, start distilling and selling cheap hooch or pot or guns or whatever, I’ll just pay $50 to some indian on the rez for a “permit”, instead of jumping through miles of red tape. When they try to shut me down, I’ll just scream “racistsssss!” as shrilly as possible.
    Besides, a permit signed “Two Bears Fuckin'” would look way cooler on the wall than some bureaucratic embossed crap that costs 10 grand.

  9. Canadians capitulate on every lock down because they all have skin in the game. They’ve bought into the idea that good things only flow from government. Big government.

    Individual responsibility or critical thinking is discouraged. You own health is not your responsibility it’s the governments. In times of crisis, any crisis Canadians default position is to look to government. A sign of a weak country.

  10. I think increasing the balkanisation of this country with warring aboriginal tribes who will fight over printed money is a great idea.

    Ras al Ghul was a man before his time. Canada is Gotham and it must be burned down to rebuild again.

      Nothing in this current system is salvageable.
      Political Corruption has infected all aspects of our lives and need a ‘GREAT PURGE’.

  12. I wouId suggest we erect a monument to all the NATIVE CONTRIBUTIONS to Canada in front of the Parliament buildings; just remove that little flame thingy they have there. Here’s my idea.

    I huge slab of polished granite…topped by a chunk of flint, and a sharp stick.

  13. You get Special Recognition if you can pronounce ANY of the names in that piece about BC Ferries.
    The mind boggles; these Ferries sporting names WRITTEN in a language only a trained linguist can read or pronounce, representing an oral only language that has NO graphical representation in the original, or in English for that matter.
    Let’s not forget that these coastal dialects had virtually ceased to exist and have only recently been resurrected from the oral memories of a few ancient elders.
    Here on the Coast we’re having these made up geographical labels jammed down our throats. Nobody stops to ask,”Why would the local natives have had a ‘name’ for what would have been an unremarkable few acres of forest and maybe a bit of beach?”
    Sort of like you having a Proper noun name for your back yard. Bizarre.

    1. If you head south of Kalispell, MT on 93 towards Missoula you pass through a number of districts/towns that have signs with their names in the “traditional” Indian.
