I was disappointed the Edmund Fitzgerald was missed.
Also, I have actually set foot on the Vasa(~32m), which has been raised.

Not nearly enough. The stupid is still overwhelmingly strong in that thread. But then, stupid is the normal state of Canadians.
Two things I didn’t know until this morning: 1. Alan Shepard went to the moon on Apollo 14 in 1971. 2. He’s the first to hit a golf ball off-Earth. So class how far could that first off-world hit ball have travelled? https://usm.maine.edu/planet/how-far-did-alan-shepherds-golf-ball-go-when-he-hit-it-moon-could-somebody-theoretically-hi-0
Shepard cleared his golfing beforehand with NASA and had a club head made that would fit onto the end of a lunar sampling tool. It took him two attempts before he successfully hit a ball as lunar suits weren’t designed for that sort of thing.
By the way, Shepard’s crew was originally supposed to fly Apollo 13, but his ear problems prompted the flight surgeon’s office to bump him and his crew to 14.
Add a few more interesting things I didn’t know. Thanks BA! BTW I haven’t golfed regularly in such a long time I’m sure I’d average two swing attempts per tee box in my next round (whenever that is!). Astronaut Shephard did great just to make contact in that bulky lunar suit. The sense of humor needed to make that happen is to be admired – especially in the shadow of Apollo 13’s near disaster. Must have ridden a Mercury candlestick…
You’re welcome.

Praise God, after decades of anti-Asian hate circulating in the halls of Public Television, Sesame Street has hired an Asian-American puppet. Everything is all better now.
