    The new and only movie being listed as showing from Jan 6th, 2022 to Jan 14th, 2022 is “The
    355”, an all women spy movie about CIA agents stopping a world wide problem.

      In a supplement to this story, progressive Democrats are blaming Glenn Youngkin, the conservative governor – elect who is NOT EVEN IN OFFICE YET, for this highway disaster. Where’s Pete Buttagieg? I thought appointing an homosexual ex-mayor as Secretary of Transportation would solve everything. Or is he still on paternity leave?

    2. I have given up on being amazed at the stupidity of people. Growing up in western Canada, I was told to carry a couple of blankets, some gas in a jerry can, chocolate and a couple of candles stuck in tin cans for light and some warmth. But mostly, I was told “Do you really have to take this trip in the forecasted bad weather?”

      I try to be proactive and think about what I would do if something “bad” happened.

      1. Bravo. I”ve got a well-outfitted bugout bag with me, always; as well as a sleeping bag and insulated coveralls. The past several years any winter journey across Wyoming on I80 has had the potential to become a two-day adventure in survivalist tactics.

    Elizabeth Holmes was the world’s youngest female self-made billionaire, and Theranos was one of Silicon Valley’s unicorn startups, valued at an estimated $9 billion.

    Her mom, Noel, was a Congressional committee staffer, and her dad, Christian Holmes, worked for Enron before moving to government agencies like USAID.

    Now, Holmes has been convicted of fraud in federal court of 4 of 11 counts of wire fraud and conspiracy. Holmes now faces the possibility of decades in prison. Each count carries a maximum 20-year prison sentence, a $250,000 fine, and a requirement to pay victims restitution.

    2. In fairness, this is not about her mother or her father. She herself had a remarkable ability for self delusion. I think she believed her own hype — and got tangled up with a guy who made things worse. Good that there will be a price to pay and that she has not gotten off scott free. They need to also get her business partner.

      1. Linda – true. Isn’t her business partner on trial now as well? At the end of the day they sold a product that didn’t work as advertised. The company was worth $9B so someone is getting hurt by this and I’m guessing it won’t be the George Soros’ of the world.

    1. BMI is a shocking method for determining the health status of an adult. It is two stats. Height and mass.

      You play a lot of sports and you can have the same BMI as a mobility impaired Land Whale. Two stats cannot even remotely begin to analysis fat levels or bone density.

      I am 174 and 110kg. I believe that makes me obese double plus or something. My prefect weight for my height is apparently 74kg. Based on my body fat ratios and the core assumption that any ‘excess’ weight is clearly fat, I would need to lose ALL my body fat and a bit more to reach this number.

      So.… BMI = utter bollocks

      Having said that, if you are a Land Whale you shouldn’t need a doctor to tell you. The human body is not intended to wobble. You should not have folds. You should not get out of breath walking horizontally. If you do get out of breath moving you should recover quickly.

      If you are Fat, you are FAT and it is not the natural state of being. How many fat animals do you see in nature? NONE.

      If you are Fat you are NOT HEALTHY based on the standard conventions of health (and not the standard conventions of being a beautiful snowflake who is wonderful just the way you are (star) (unicorn) (glitter)) and YOU should be prepared to accept any complications that arise from this. You want to be considered an adult, take adult responsibility for things in your life.

  14. Why is it in computer simulations, the United States gets wiped out rather quickly in War Games?
    This also has to do with our politicians being ignorant to what other countries are doing and their technological advances.

    The ‘Great Reset’ is the complete turning off the ‘internet’ and wiping all the data off of it including the decades of formatting and data put into it.
    This will be done by China as all our current infrastructure technologies go through getting computers and microchip through them.
    Russia can retaliate and wipe out any challenges of any military aggressive movement the United States tries to deploy by use of the Oceans as an advanced weapon system creating massive waves that can cause the most destruction.
    The United States being blind, any bases are isolated and can be picked off.

    The current devices and computers have no path to get on the world wide web as everything on it, is gone forever.

      A bus load of Junior Hockey Players was nearly completely wiped out by a wreckless and cheating immigrant. He was coached how to game the system by operating a truck with multiple log books so he could keep the truck moving when he should have been resting and not entering driver fatigue well past what is safe and legal.

      Now apply this to airplanes!!?

      Stupid and greedy human nature is revealing itself once again. Males who believe they are above the rules and regulations of accountability and proficiency mixed with youthful vigor will have the recipe for disaster written all over it. The Caste system from that region of the world puts the wealthy ruling over the serfs with wreckless abandon.

      1. I am not sure whether this has happened yet but it should. Every truck should be logged in while driving actively reporting it’s position by GPS and who is driving. In case of multiple drivers, each driver should be required to identify themselves at weigh scales or traffic stops. Anyone who tries to cheat the system by inventing drivers has their tractor seized until they post $100,000 bond to cover their potential sentence.

    2. Same with Biden who stated that unvaccinated children should not be allowed to play with vaccinated children. They make it pretty obvious that they are controlled. It’s embarrassing. Sadly, a lot of Canadians are oblivious.

I completed my unscientific but defendable review of the trend of deaths based on the same group of funeral homes, 2018 vs 2021. 2021 vs 2020 plus 12.1%. 2021 vs 2018 (pre covid benchmark?) plus 20.3%. Not saying anything regarding any factor (suicides, vaccine toxicity, increased stress levels). It would be nice for officialdom and or the media to take an interest in these trendlines and do some research/publicity outside of narratives and agenda talking points.

  20. Here’s a Reader Tip for anyone finding themselves in a similar situation and who might benefit from the idea. (First came across this 5 or 6 years ago, but it bears repeating).

    After 37 years of marriage, Jake dumped his wife, Edith, for his young secretary. His new trophy wife demanded that they live in Jake and Edith’s multi million dollar home, and since Jake’s lawyers were a little better, he prevailed.
    He gave Edith just 3 days to move out. She spent the first day packing her belongings into boxes, crates and suitcases. On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her things.
    On the third and final day, she sat down for the last time at the beautiful dining room table by candlelight, put on some soft background music, and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar and a bottle of Chardonnay.
    When Edith had finished, she went into each and every room and stuffed half-eaten shrimp shells dipped in caviar into the hollows of all of the curtain rods. She then cleaned up the kitchen and left.
    When Jake returned with his new wife, all was bliss for the first few days.
    Then slowly the house began to smell. They tried everything: cleaning, mopping, and airing the place out. Vents were checked for dead rodents and carpets were cleaned. Air fresheners were hung everywhere. Exterminators were brought in to set off gas canisters, during which Jake and his new wife had to move out for several days. In the end, they even replaced the expensive wool carpeting, but nothing took away the awful smell. People stopped coming over to visit. Repairman refused to work in the house. The maid quit.
    Finally, they could not take the stench any longer and decided to move. A month later, even though they had cut their price in half, they could not find a buyer for their stinky house. Word got out and eventually even the local realtors refused to return their calls.
    Finally, they had to borrow a huge sum of money from the bank to purchase a new place.
    Edith called Jake and asked how things were going. He told her the saga of the rotting house. She listened politely and said that she missed her old home terribly and would be willing to reduce her divorce settlement in exchange for getting the house back.
    Knowing his ex-wife had no idea how bad the smell was, Jake agreed on a price that was about 1/10th of what the house had been worth, but only if she were to sign the papers that very day. Edith agreed, and within the hour his lawyers delivered the paperwork.
    A week later, Jake and his new wife stood smiling as they watched the moving company pack everything to take to their new home.
    INCLUDING THE CURTAIN RODS.

      He shoulda got a labrador to go through the house. The dog would have located the source of the smell in 5 minutes.

        Winter Tires

        I refuse to put on winter tires because:

        It’s my car, my choice, my freedom.
        The effectiveness of winter tires is not proven, except by studies carried out by manufacturers (like I’m supposed to trust them)
        My neighbour Bob had an accident even after putting on winter tires
        Some drivers are already on their 3rd set of tires, which proves their ineffectiveness
        We do not know what the tires are made of
        The tire manufacturers scare us with winter just to enrich themselves
        In fact I read on the internet that the tire giants invented snow and spread it at night when you sleep
        If I have winter tires, the government can track me in the snow…

    5. I got married seven years ago. During my bachelor years, say 20 ears ago, I bought a box of shrimp, plus a whole bunch of other food, from the grocery store. Unloading my food in the kitchen, I inadvertently put the shrimp under the kitchen sink, then forgot about it. After a few days there was a big stink. So I vouch for the fact that rotting shrimp sticks.

    6. Story is fantasy. Jake would have just kept bonking the other woman on the side.

      Plus rotting seafood is organic. For reasons I would not be able to explain but are wildly accepted, the human system quickly learns to tolerate bad organic smells.

      Also decay attracts flies et/al. Pretty sure they would have worked out the curtain rails were the source pretty quickly.

      – What is this horrible smell?
      – No idea. Looked everywhere!
      – Oh. Also what is with all the flies and ants?
      – Oh they have a fetish for curtain rails. I spray every day and keeps it manageable.

      Yeah. Nah.

      Also, not sure how divorces work with handing over the keys, but if this was a rental there would probably be a ‘professionally clean’ clause somewhere. Pretty sure people who clean properties for a living would be all over all the revenge tricks.

  27. Rather that Trudeau incorporate 100% to the media’s bastardized version of critical race theory of were all born racist and settlers and owe a never ending compensation to dead people…see The Dr Phil show on January 5.
    Constantly playing the victim for compensation is not what it about.
    Past history was a different time than today and critical race theory is for older kids that can comprehend what it is.
