  1. Nice to see the follow up! I’m just disappointed they got rid of the battery pack prior to the explosion.

  2. Huh. My earlier comment has vanished.

Bad blasting based on the rain of parts afterwards, but a pretty shockwave.

  3. I’m impressed. I thought the US was the only country where you could play with serious shit. Fifty years ago, in Canada, you could buy a 50 pounds of dynamite with a land description which likely wasn’t verified. My U of Alberta room-mate had 50 pounds in his closet. He told me the caps were in his car. I slept like a baby. I knew a guy that kept his registered pistol in the university residence. He had no other address. Nowadays people would mess themselves and call the swat team.

Someone I know who does explosives for a living has spent time in back rooms at airports after triggering explosive detection alarms. He never travels without his blasting certificate and a letter from his employer explaining what he does.

  4. Just think,if it had an effective battery,I would not need explosives.
For the comedy of this meme, the electric car,is that given a battery with the required energy density, you have a mighty fine bomb.
As a test case, obtain a Lithion Ion battery and punch a hole in it.
Outside in the snow would be advisable.
