Yesterday three people I know called and said they are positive and have mild symptoms. One of the ‘terrifyingly’ infected is my 29 year old niece.
This morning my triple-vax’d brother-in-law called, he saw my niece a week ago, he did not sleep last night, had no symptoms, and had just taken his third Alberta RAT of the day (all negative). He’s clearly having a Merry Christmas.
He wanted our RAT kits (even though we saw her the same day). He was enraged that I couldn’t be bothered to have waited in line to pick any up.
My BIL pulled his family out of Christmas dinner yesterday. He said it was because he wanted to stick to a consistent set of 10 contacts.
I suspect the real reason is that I had refused to rapid test my kids beforehand, as he had said he would do it with his, and he was too afraid to admit it.
As if I would ever shove sticks up my kids noses as a prerequisite for a family gathering. I feel sorry for him that he’s fallen prey to all of this, I really do. I pray that sanity returns to this world very soon.

I had to, and spent three days as a guest of the local hospital last week. Got asked if I had gotten the flu shot and the Covid shots and said no to both; when the nurse asked if I wanted them I declined. She didn’t bat an eyelash. And mask-wearing while sleeping, even though the hospital policy was wearing one 100% of the time? The nurses didn’t care.

Here’s my hypothesis; comments welcome.
The mRNA drugs (‘vax’) are not vaccines (well, Newspeak vaccines apparently, but not in any real sense). They only provide the body with a snippet of the invading virus to identify it, and the body produces antibodies for that snippet. If the virus mutates, as we have seen, the antibodies become less and less effective against the entire virus. True vaccines, which provided the body with an entire copy of a dead virus, allowed the body to produce antibodies using the entire viral template, instead of just a snippet.
Typically, our bodies would then produce a number of different antibodies when presented with the whole template. This set of antibodies provides more robust protection than the single antibody produced by the vax. When any single aspect of the virus changes, that only knocks one antibody out of chain of defence. The remaining antibodies of different types can still overwhelm the mutated virus. Most viruses don’t mutate quickly enough to evade *all* the antibodies, so the outbreak of those diseases is easily quelled with a true vaccine.
However, for years, there has been one class of viruses (virii?) that does mutate so rapidly and completely that we haven’t been able to create a vaccine for it: rhinoviruses. Those are the ones that cause the common cold, influenza, and others. The annual ‘flu shot’ was an attempt to create a short-term old-style vaccine against what was expected to be the dominant strain of flu that year. Flu shots used a dead copy of that year’s flu strain, as true vaccines do, and you got the shot with the understanding that it was only going to work against *that* particular strain, but that it should protect you from the most prevalent form of the virus that flu season.
But no one expected the flu shot that you got last year would protect you this year as well. The new strain would look completely different, and last year’s antibodies would be useless. So, each year, we waited while the new strain emerged in China – why does that *always* happen? – and drug companies here isolated the bug, made the shot, and gave it to us. And each year, despite that, millions of us got the flu, and thousands of us died. We accepted that as part of life.
It’s clear the current ‘vax’ are simply a poor cousin of the annual flu shot. Rather than targeting the entire C19 virus, they only target the spike protein, and as that changes, the vax’ effectiveness plunges. And it’s clear that C19, with its multiple variants up to the current Moronic flavour, changes too quickly for any traditional vaccine to work against either, just like last year’s flu shot won’t work against this year’s bug.
However, we do see a boost in immunity following the shots, even the booster shots, despite the virus changing and the vax staying the same. Why is that? I’m suggesting that the mRNA drugs, when injected, put our bodies defense systems on high alert. While the vax are stimulating the production of their specific antibody, the *rest* of the body’s defense are getting mobilized as well. If China started shooting at a US Navy ship in the Taiwan Strait, don’t you think the Army, Air Force, and Marines are going to go on high alert as well?
So immediately after the vax, our bodies are on DefConOne, and even though the new virus is quite different than the one the vax antibodies are looking for, the rest of our body’s defense are ready to do battle, and most of the time, we win. 99.9% of us survive this thing. However, this has nothing to do with the content of the vax per se. They could inject an mRNA drug to produce smallpox antibodies, and I’m suggesting that we would see the same temporary boost in immunity.
Now, you can’t keep a defense force at DefConOne forever, and neither can our bodies. As time passes, the body goes back to DefConFive, our bodies’ defense relax, and more people get sick. At this point, a booster will raise the body back to DC1, and we’ll see a temporary decrease in people getting sick, as our bodies – not the vax – fight back. As they say in the marketing biz “Lather, rinse, repeat”.
Serious questions then arise: what is the cumulative effect of all these shots? What about ADE? Do the mRNA drugs actually encourage mutation? There are others, but these alone need to be studied.
