The “no low marks” scheme reminds me of the “everybody passes” doctrine while I taught at Armpit College. In one course my department head used to teach, one young lady dropped out part-way through and still got 50%.
I tried all sorts of things to make it easier for the kiddies. I made exams open-book. I put old exams on reserve, encouraging them to make copies and work through the questions. I used many of those same questions when I set another exam and I didn’t say anything if someone had taken their copies, with their solutions, in with them.
Still, there were people who failed or squawked that my exams were “too hard”. With one group, I asked them if they looked at what I put on reserve. Guess what their answer as. Uh-huh, and I was expected to automatically pass them when they couldn’t even bother to look at material I freely made available for them?
Why isn’t the Saskatchewan media, or Saskatchewan Health (for that matter) discussing the decision to promote Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccines in November? In mid December we find the The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines over the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

As a result, people simply “tune out” the yammering on social media by sub-standard doctors and get on with life. These same sub-standard doctors then whine that no one listens to them. How many times can you be wrong and expect people will respect you?
There is speculation that the CDC suddenly expressing ” concern” about J&J is an attempt to protect the near monopoly of Pfizer and Moderna. As we know, from Robert Kennedy Jr’s, many in the US drug approval agencies have personal interest in those particular products. On the face of it, J&J does not appear to have a worse safety record than Pfizer. Plus, there is an effort to play down Pfizer injuries and deaths.
Along the same lines, I am wondering if Health Canada is deliberately dragging their feet on the Novavax approval, which has now been in the apptoval process for a year. It is puzzling that approval would take so long, when Pfizer and Moderna were approved virtually overnight.
J & J is just as dangerous.
It delivers a high spike load to the system that does damage immediately.
The other ones rewrite your body to make it slowly over time.
