National Post- The mystery behind Trudeau’s two climate change committees

The list of committees turned out to contain not one but two committees on economy, inclusion and climate: they were labelled “A” and “B.”  These committees have 14 members each, with no overlap. The current minister of the environment, Steven Guilbeault, is on the B team; his immediate predecessor, Jonathan Wilkinson, sits on A. The committees are described as having identical mandates: they shall consider “such issues as sustainable and inclusive social and economic development, post-pandemic recovery, decarbonization, and the environment as well as improving the health and quality of life of Canadians.”

  1. Well it takes two groups of society rotting minds, to finally finish off whatever was left of the Canada of old.
Two committees twice the amount of bs to baffle people with
Who’s going to stop these idiots.
    No one….

  2. “Why two committees, Mr. Prime Minister?”

“If we don’t kiww them one way, we’ww kiww them with the othew one.”

  3. You don’t honestly expect only one group of idiots to come to any sort of reliable conclusion, do you? It’s going to take at least two groups of idiots, plus the Baked Potato!

  4. Ahem:

“Environment Minister Jonathan Wilkinson yesterday disclosed his wife Tara owns stock in one of Canada’s largest gas companies. Wilkinson has repeatedly invoked the couple’s school-age daughters in justifying federal climate change programs, but omitted mention of family shares in Enbridge Inc.: “It is something we must take action on in the short term if we want to leave a livable planet for our kids.”
