When I was in business, I met many people like John Kerry. Decent looking, knew the right words to say, but basically ineffectual. They always liked to ride on the coattails of others and used “we” a lot. Another favorite buzz word was ” going forward”. As soon as I heard that phrase, I knew to be on my guard about any other pronouncements which they would make.
JFKerry is the emptiest of empty suits. His long-winded pronouncements are cringeworthy … yet the Idiot-classes in Wash. DC lend them credence. Without the idiot-class support … Kerry would be outed for the idiot he is.
Biden Diplomacy – “For a limited time only, if you give my son lots of drugs and bucks, you can get any legislation passed in the House and Senate that you want. Operators standing by to take your order. Terms start at $500 million with 6 months to pay. Terms subject to change without notice due to upcoming midterm elections”.

When Trump brokered the Abraham Accords I thought it was a huge development. I knew the path to peace should be economic, the Israelis lead the world in so many fields, agriculture, water desalination, energy, medicine, technology, any of their neighbours could advance their society and raise their standard of living by working with them, dealing with them. Trade, commerce, “capitalism” can overcome divisions, “win-win” deals are a wonderful thing.
I knew the Trump Abraham Accords would receive little or negative mainstream publicity, I knew at all levels they would be belittled or ignored, so I quickly plunked a chunk into Israel’s stock market, I’m up about 15%, hopefully nowhere to go but up.

The people that matter regarding the accords know where the credit belongs. As you say, the economic benefits speak for themselves.
Nobody actually gives a tinker’s damn about the Palestinian Arabs. Not even other Arabs.
