As a native two-penis, bi-sexual, horse-hung party goer I feel the discrimination everyday from “normies” aka white people. It is my heritage and burden as a POC to carry the weight of my brothers (and sisters) when we are playing in the family pool. My life is only there to serve others (like Jesus only not as Jewish) and suffer the slings and arrows of the NHS.

Depends what the middle of the night might be. What personal belonging? Nowhere to go?
Middle of the night is a wide concept, could be 7 in the evening, could be 1 am, does not sound right, could be 7 in the morning. Today there is darkness in all three cases, could be anytime.
Personal belongings would be her business, the hospital has no say and nothing to do with it.
Nowhere to go, yeah, like she should be staying in the hospital taking up bed needed perhaps for the next patient.
Sounds positively racist.
There is so much bullshit in the story, if the character was not native, it would not take a notice.

Not just commenting on the fluff pieces about Justin Bieber or Kim Kardashian,but stories like that above.

That way I too could give an anecdotal story from a couple months ago when I was waiting in Emergency at a Toronto hospital.

My story involved waiting for over 2-1/2 hrs in Emerge when a visibly distraught Aboriginal woman came in moaning and groaning about pain in her abdomen and was seen immediately by medical staff but was told to wait her turn.
After she calmed down a little bit she struck-up a conversation with one of the other people waiting their turn to see a doctor.
Long story short,she confided in her new friend sitting beside her that all she wanted was a prescription for Opiods and the theatrics she was putting on display was all for show.

I accept you, will you accept me, as we are paying the freight for you to be here if you are a welfare immigrant? Indians , I don’t care we have been supporting them for over one hundred years. I have in laws who are Indians, who are so called indigenous peoples, they live as Canadians. . Too bad people can’t get over their personal inhumanity to man and let people live their lives.

I watched it. Winning by any means is never a certainty. I appreciate that you posted the link. The chief problem is two fold – first, getting people to accept that there is a problem, and second, accepting that they must take ownership of the problem in order to solve the problem. You helped start to solve the first part by posting the link.
Most people are naive. They have assumed that government will take care of problems that they don’t feel like talking about, not realizing that the institution is part and parcel of the problem. Taking up responsibilities that are managed by others from a distance is personally costly, in time and money and heartache. Our society has become lazy so there is a lot of inertia to overcome.
Very well written and gave me the information I needed to make a quick and informed decision. Just three words into the title and I concluded the article is based on the bleating of a mentally ill person over some absurd grievance or another. Nothing more to see here and certainly not worth wasting any f***s over it. They’re pretty hard to come by these days…
Think I’ll go reload some more brass with the time I saved.
