Bari Weiss- The Media’s Verdict on Kyle Rittenhouse
This wasn’t a disinformation campaign waged by Reddit trolls or anonymous Twitter accounts. It was one pushed by the mainstream media and sitting members of Congress for the sake of an expedient political narrative—a narrative that asked people to believe, among other unrealities, that blocks of burning buildings somehow constituted peaceful protests.
In the aftermath of the media frenzy around the Covington Catholic story at least there were some mea culpas from the mainstream press, some sense of shame, some desire to get the egg off their faces. But with rare exception it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting that here.
To acknowledge the facts of what happened that night is not political. It is simply to acknowledge reality. It is to say that facts are still facts and that lies are lies. It is to insist that mob justice is not justice. It is to say that media consensus is not the equivalent of due process. And that pretending otherwise for the sake of political expediency is why the National Guard is now standing watch in Kenosha, bracing for violence once again in the anticipation of a verdict that for many, has already been decided.

FOX News is reporting that the Rittenhouse judge has banned all MSNBC personel from entering the court house, after police caught an MSNBC producer trailing the jury bus to and from the hotel and the court house:

A wealthy, powerful, media entity is ACTIVELY attempting to intimidate the Jury. In my opinion, MSNBC should lose their FCC License for committing this heinous act against the most BASIC institution of Justice.
And let me add: the continued connection between the Deep State and the media … such as tipping off the NYT about the RAID of James O’Keefe’s residence needs to be STOPPED via long jail sentences. At least as long as Buffalo-Head Q-Anon guy…
Trump should have raided them, CNN, Google, Twitter and a host of others, arrested all their executives for treason, inciting riots, etc, then seize all their assets and donate them to OAN, Breitbart, Prager, Matt Christiansen, and others.

His latest entry is another cringing moment in racism of lowered expectations.
The judge is waiting for the jury verdict. If not guilty all is fine, except for the riots to come. If the verdict is guilty the judge will declare a mistrial and the riots will come. I think that the jurors are scared for their lives and their family members of declaring not guilty. This is why it is taking so long.
The lone holdout on the panel says, “Let the bastards come. Too old to care anymore and would love to take a few with me.” The other eleven are crying about being doxxed on Metamucil Fakebook.
As I predicted … I expect there is ONE Juror (possibly a few) who stealthily made it on to the Jury just to make some political point against our 2nd Amendment Rights … just to use Jury Nullification (see: OJ Trial) to trample on our basic Human Right of self-defense and Constitutional Right to use a gun.
This will be a Jury deadlocked mistrial … and the Judge will THEN rule on the Defense motions by setting the kid FREE.
And let me say, I continue to admire Kyle Rittenhouse for his conduct on that fateful night and his conduct during the trial. And kudos to his defense team … they did a fantastic job in prepping their client for trial. Absolutely PERFECT conduct, down to every facial expression and body language. Despite his sketchy family … the kid has far-exceeded his upbringing to become a wonderful young man (by all outward appearances). I become more impressed by him each time I see him weather another day of this shitstorm … created solely by some VERY BAD losers using the cover of a RIOT to commit violence against property and persons.
Hear, hear! May there be many more like him watching from the sidelines and taking inspiration from his example.
I tend to agree with you Stephen, Yet when juries can be intimidated and coerced, thus changing the out come of a trial, then justice is dead, and it will be a return to the law of the jungle. I sincerely hope the Rittenhouse jury have been enlightened by this fact. Or at least, they should be. It does require courage to deliberate honestly with such a volatile trial, but if by threats and intimidation (see the Chauvin trial) the results can be changed, then we are truly lost, and what remains of our civilization will be flushed down the toilet. If this young man is found guilty of self defense, then self defense is no longer a valid means of right to life, and there will be blood letting of the innocent in the foreseeable future. Not a situation or reality that anyone of us should take lightly. For it will affect all decent people in a multiple number of ways, none of it good!
Correct. BLM were outside the courthouse with bull horns , to make certain the jury could hear their threats , that unless the mob got the verdict the mob wanted , the inference was the jury would be at risk.
I expect the jury will return and state they cannot reach a decision.
Quite the scene in the US. The Democrats are using the FBI as a KGB , with BLM as the equivalent of Nazi Storm Troopers.

Actually if I was on the jury and I could hear Mookie outside with a bullhorn I’d be moving heaven and earth to convince the jury to find Rittenhouse not guilty. Because I’m an as**ole.
Keeping in mind that Bari Weiss is part of the waco left media. Regardless of how the verdict goes watch the police and the national guard. They will chose sides either the rioters or the revelators.
The media is the enemy. One could make up a story and be more accurate than their reports on the events that occurred in Kenosha last year.
