Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I’ve been to Winnipeg. Very accurate video, except it is not as exciting in real life.
Oh I remember Portage and Main say in Jan at -40 with a little breeze going.
It’s good for you, toughens you up a smidge.
I remember one young lady as part of a radio station contest rode a bicycle at portage and main, naked, in january.
She was promptly arrested of course, probably for brandishing nipples that could be used as weapons.
Sort of Canadian “open carry”?
“…brandishing nipples that could be used as weapons.”
Pics or it didn’t happen.
I used to have to spend a lot of time in Winnipeg for my job. It ain’t that fancy. I liked the Earl’s Girls, though.
It’s called Winterpeg for a reason ….spent a month there one night & don’t recall it being THAT exciting.
A LOT of really good musicians came out of Winnipeg in the late 60’s and 70’s. Mid 70’s just about every bar in the city had live music. Good rock and roll. Good times had by all. Then to Salisbury house for a cheese nip at 4 in the morning before going home.
