I can’t remember where I read it but the writer suggested that in 30 years our Oil Sands will be worth their weight in gold to North America. He reasoned that by then all other large sources of fossil fuels will be locked up by untrustworthy autocratic/corrupt regimes.

Don’t be fooled by the attempts to shut down access to oil reserves. It is NOT about saving the planet. It is about conserving those energy resources for the elites. They will still be flying private jets when they have forced us peasants to ride bicycles, and ONLY bicycles. The reason they want population reductions are also the same, it’s about saving the worlds resources for themselves and their progeny into the future. My take is we are past Peak Oil.
The cost of getting ” cheap oil ” out of the ground is rising faster then the reserves are replenishing or the new discoveries are being found.
Case of diminishing returns.
Simply, there are too many people consuming an ever dwindling resource.
Hence the urgent need to ” cull ” the population and reduce consumption.
Build Back Better and the Great Reset are ends to that goal.

I am reading a book titled “The Second Sleep” by Robert Harris, issued in 2019. It takes place approx. 1000 years into the future after the Apocalypse (2025) in which huge numbers of the world’s population died from the 4 Horsemen – Famine, Pestilence, War and Disease. The world has returned to medieval times with Antiquarian Societies funding digs for plastic, cell phones etcetra. Roads, railroads, electricity are all “of the past”. There is no one who knows how to re-imagine them and to do so is considered heresy by the resurrected Catholic Church.
I am finding it a fascinating read and am a “little disturbed” at the writer’s timeliness.
