So why the raids? Since when does the FBI conducted raids over missing diaries?
The FBI can cite the interstate elements of the alleged theft as raising a federal crime. However, what is the crime? It is not clear if they are suggesting that the responsible parties were seeking to sell the diary or that there was some national security element (which would be bizarre since Biden’s daughter was writing before her father ever became president).
Journalist organizations are routinely given material removed from businesses, agencies, or private owners without permission by confidential sources. If this is a federal crime subject to FBI raids, what happened to the new media policies of the Biden Administration after the Tucker Carlson controversy?

James O’Keefe and Project Veritas didn’t publish the diary and even tried to return it. The lie about the FBI just being corrupted at the top and not all the way through to the rank and file is pretty obvious at this point. Anybody with any sense of right and wrong would have left the FBI voluntarily by now. Drone strike the J. Edgar Hoover building at any time of day or night and the only innocent lives lost would likely be the janitorial staff.

More than a little confused by the videos I have seen by both PV and others in regards to this. Why was there a raid? Then they mention this diary crap which is fallowed up with PV stating they had turned them over to authorities previously. So if authorities had the diary that PV stated were of no relevance to them, why the raid? Let’s be real though, nothing makes sense anymore as a general rule.
