  1. My favorite spiritual practices of the indigenous Hawaiians in no particular order:

    Cannibalism.
    Slavery.
    Incestuous royal marriage.
    Expansionism.
    Caste system.
    Those incestuous chiefs were so sacred that even looking at them could get you killed on the spot.

    I’m sure there are more, but I have to walk the dog. 🙂

  2. Pisses me off when the term “First Nations” is used in reference to our natives. Keep it north of the border suckers, we don’t want any of those lies propagated here.

    1. They weren’t nations, they were primitive people living a hunter gatherer existence. They were violent and killed and enslaved those of other tribes. They lived within no defined borders and wandered wherever they could find food. Nothing noble about subsistence survival. Keep up with we are doing, we will get back to that.

  4. They weren’t first nations, they were first colonisers. And not just in Hawai’i, which didn’t exist at all only a couple of million years ago.

    As to Ms Chanda, I harbour suspicions that she’s not a very good astronomer–or at least not a very employable one–or she’d be too busy to be woke. Most of them are too busy looking outward to get bogged down in what happens on this sorry rock.

    1. Especially true in Hawaii, where human beings didn’t even arrive until the 13th century. None of this “from time immemorial“ BS please. 🙂

      1. “Time immemorial” just means “we don’t know when we settled here because our ancestors were ignorant savages and didn’t write anything down, and besides, not taking our myths at face value is racist.”

        1. Yep. “We were here first” sounds like a bunch of five-year olds squabbling on a playground. Still got that Neolithic mindset, some quality parenting is called for here.

          1. OSF. I have said this many times. The older I get the fewer people there are who were here before me. That covers one hell of a lot of people these days.

  5. I’m reminded of a video of a presentation made by some South African students. They wanted to “decolonialize” science and were pushing to have concepts, such as shooting lightning bolts from one’s eyes, be taught along side such topics as calculus, strength of materials, and celestial mechanics.

    Guess the race of those students…..

    1. BA, I sure wish I could shoot lightening bolts from my eyes, politics would look a whole lot different than they do right now.

  6. Those scientologist that reference the life of others to racism, misogyny and all those other favored trespasses of the woke culturists are so far into the deep end, they can’t see past the end of their nose.
    The trouble is that the media cartel calls on them as “experts” when they need support for their favored ideology.
    It is a circle of evil that dominates the mass media.

  12. Let me guess: the game was pulled because it didn’t include a recently-minted 4-star American admiral? After all, the game was about “wonder women” and we wonder how that officer could be considered female.
