  1. Damn! Those have got to be mile wide lava flows … like massive red hot, molten, for 25 miles long lava flows. I don’t recall the WORST Kilauea flows anywhere near this display from La Palma.

  2. Poor dogs…sorry, but I’ve got a huge soft spot for em…all of them. Good on those with drones trying to help..very cool.

I have never seen such fast flowing wide rivers of Lava like that ever…WOW..!!

  3. Oh no, more CO2, Lord save us from all these disasters and the deadly global warming.

    1. Revelation shows that there is nowhere to run. Put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye if those prophecies come to fruition. The evil will be going along with the good, no favourites.

    2. If I was left behind, then after that became a Christian who will be persecuted to death, then why not take as many out as possible, your persecutors, by being armed and ready. Knowing you’re going to die anyway, practice marksmanship? Never understood why that didn’t happen as Hitler rounded people up.

  4. Wait, there is more! Giant tsunamis could hit Europe and the U.S. East Coast.

“The coastlines of the Canaries are characterized by massive, steep cliffs and there has long been speculation that these features formed by dramatic collapse. What makes this possibility super significant is the fact that this process could trigger massive tsunamis that could hit the coasts of Europe, the eastern seaboard of the US, and Antarctica. In fact, speculation is that giant blocks of limestone that weigh hundreds of tons meters above sea level in the Bahamas were delivered there by a megatsunami and the Canary Island landslides are a possible culprit. And more locally, tsunami deposits found in the Canary island suggest waves in the past over 150 meters high!

Cumbre Vieja is the main volcano on the island of La Palma and has erupted recently causing large cracks to grow involving the significant motion of the western volcano flank. This has caused speculation that this flank could collapse. The flank has a volume of 1.5 trillion metric tons and models suggest that if it were to collapse it would generate a tsunami 1000 m high that would be 50 m when it arrived in Europe and along the eastern coast of the US.”

    1. Check out the Hawaiian Island of Molokai. It split in two – the northern third sinking thousands of feet into the ocean around 1.5 million years ago.

      1. JB: Of course, but in this case it will be diving masks with a breathing piece in the mouth attached to an oxygen tank.

  5. Sigh. This is a small eruption that has been ongoing for weeks. Stop making a big deal about nothing.
