    Media spin today is that Justin spent hours talking with “survivors” without mentioning it was by telephone and made from the PM’s jet — not even once on the ground in B.C. but in the air so he didn’t lose any surfing time, dudes — and he spent the sacred holiday with his family while showing old footage of Justin speechifying at the Indian thing the couple of days ago; and they fluffed off his official schedule claiming he was supposed to be in Ottawa that day.

  6. The guy blew off his own event, and was missing in (in)action at Kamloops where they thought he might descend from the clouds like some legendary demi-god.

    If he’s not into this largely contrived occasion, then he shouldn’t expect his subjects and serfs to be bothered with it, surely?

Butts should have advised him of the optics and that if the horror of the apartheid that he now owns is so shameful to warrant that, he (the Spawn) shouldn’t be allowed any time off until reconciliation makes everyone warm and fuzzy enough to allow the flag to be raised to its full glory.

We need our own version of 4Chan in this country. I was in Nelson B.C. for only three hours before I knew who was building the gazillion dollar palace across the lake.

      I ride up to lovely Nelson 2-3 times a year to visit my friend and former business partner.

      1. Forget his name now…an Albertan oil guy if memory serves(about 12 years ago) directly across this long jetty as I recall that was very near an airstrip. You can’t miss it. I was told the the kids of the area were supremely pissed because they used to gather there and party on the weekends and dive/jump off the cliff which was now on his property and which he promptly fenced off.
        Stayed at the Redfish cottages on the Kootenay (not sure if it’s still there) which is about a five – ten minute drive North of that humongous bridge. When I was there there were forest fires raging somewhere up North and these huge aerial fire fighting planes would fill up in the Kootenay. Very cool for someone who doesn’t see a whole lot of that where I’m from.
        Enjoyed my stay very much.

    The real Liberals knew and are cool with who they elected,,, the Natives were just suckered again, by the same politician who has been promising clean drinking water for 7 years and who was also taking Native children to court to stop their benefits. I guess it takes awhile for some people to learn.

All the Liberal ridings who voted for the continuation of transfer payments to those same ridings should fork over those transfer payments to reserves that need safe drinking water until proper clean water facilities are built and maintained. Liberal Canadians should be ashamed of themselves for voting to maintain their precious status quo at ‘First Nations’ (and Alberta’s) exoense.

    The only answer is that there is a lot of folks that expressed shock over this that where hoodwinked by the myth of Pierre Trudeau and still waiting to see a reincarnation through the sock monkey.

  21. I fondly remember when it was big new that Harper flew to a hockey game and reimbursed.tge taxpayers. Funny how all those concerns about pm expenses are gone now. In fact now it’s shut up bigot!

  25. After seeing this on page 3 in Saturdays NP it struck me: for a whole host of reasons Trudeau is going to resign. That could explain why he doesn’t care about the optics. He’s a dead PM walking.

  26. He should resign. He said he called the election because he couldn’t govern in minority, he got a minority therefore he can’t govern. Since nothing has changed, he needs to resign and spend more time with Sophie and the kids, spend all the time they like anywhere in their world of the rich, the peasants have had enough of the phony crap.

    Having said that, there are reports that the intellegencia of upper Canada are now convinced that the constitution is flawed because, horror of horrors, Doug Ford’s reduction of Toronto city council was ruled constitutional by the SCOC.
    This may be the wedge that gets through the cognitive dissonance of the MTV.
    Whenever it comes to constitutional reform the demand line forms on the left and the first in line is Quebec with chief big screen right behind them.
