  4. I know how they feel, but I am newly retired so I have nothing to lose. I have no issue shunning business that enforce fascism under the guise of covid papers. I do have a question, how do said businesses feel that the government made private industry enforce government policy? The businesses will be liable for demanding vaccine passports, instead of demanding the government place an agent of fascism at their doors they are doing it’s work for free? Why, tell the provinces if you want vaccine mandates hire covid brown shirts and place them outside of businesses, why do the goberments’ job for free. I’ll never enter a covid mandate zone again, they had a choice- make the government do the job but they seem keen to do it for them for free. Imagine the legal hearings, your honor we just made an advisement but those business decided to force the issue. Do business really think the goberment has you back after they’ve crushed you for two years.

    3. There are several restaurants near me that have closed down their dining rooms and will only do takeout because they refuse to demand vaccine passports. I hope there are more, and they will get my business.

      3. My local pub is staying open, had a full house yesterday at the start of Ontario’s so called vax pass mandate. Has a sign out front that states he will not enforce the vax pass and that all are welcome. He was on Global news locally stating just that. If he has to comply he will be broke period and he has chosen this point in time to make a stand.

  7. People who work in Canadian hospitals are already working in Hell, and they know it. I’m sure many, many of them will walk before getting the jab. Not because of any moral or political stand, but just because they’re f-ing sick of it.

    There comes a point where the job simply isn’t worth the money, and for a lot of doctors and nurses, this will be that point.

      1. CBC states that the hospital plans to dismiss with cause, of course that is what the employer says but the employment lawyer will say otherwise and severance will be sought. I’m not a lawyer but as I understand, you cannot unilaterally change someone’s terms of employment. I was looking at a law firms website for some other information and noticed that they had several service specific forms to initiate contact, one was COVID-19 Employment. Lots of court action is coming. If this is happening to you, talk to a lawyer.

        1. If you are a unionized employee and your union doesn’t stand up for you, you may have a problem. The union contract has procedures to solve disputes that do not involve the courts. There is always the human rights commissions but they are doctrinaire communists/fascists.

    3. Nurses and healthcare technicians are some of the highest paid individuals in most Provinces. This is not to say that they are not being faced with a huge number of covid patients nearly every day. To say that they are being over worked to the point of exhaustion and to the point that they are quiting enmasse is an exageration being promoted by their unions.

If you get really sick then they might help you. In one case I personally know the person died before friends checked on her. Fully vaccinated within 4 days. My Fully vaccinated sister was very ill for 5 days. 2 other fully vaccinated had mild illness. Of the 7 unvaccinated 1 was seriously ill but did not require hospitalization and the other 6 had mild to no complications.Early treatment programs that have been denounced without evidence could likely keep people out of hospitals.But keep your head up your butt ,it will work better than a mask.

          India, Mexico and Argentina have used Ivermectin to reduce the death rate to near zero. Merck, the company that owned the patent on Ivermectin (it expired in 1996) has refused to run trials because there is no money in Ivermectin.
          Big pharma and Fauci should be charged with killing millions by their refusal to allow the use of medicines.

      1) Young people are not getting COVID so bad it sends them to the hospital,
      2) ER doesn’t have isolation, that’s on the ward floors,
      3) vaccine status is not posted on the door of isolation rooms,
      4) hospital isolation rooms generally don’t have glass doors except in the movies, so you can’t see the people inside crying.
      5) if you’re that sick from WuFlu that you had to go to Emerg, most likely you don’t have breath to spare for crying.

      Newsflash, the jab doesn’t prevent WuFlu and it doesn’t prevent you from spreading it. A large and growing cohort of WuFlu patients in hospital are double-jabbed.

          Total number of active cases under 40: 3915
          Total number of resolved cases under 40: 213452
          Total number of deaths (with Wuhan Flu not from Wuhan Flu) under 40: 101
          So roughly 1 out of 2119 people who contracted Wuhan Flu under 40 died.
          And your ER is full of them? And we’re only a fraction of the active peak case count from the past.

Of course the health system encompasses more than just nurses, but the BCNU with a membership of ~50,000 and the HEU also with ~50,000 members, so if unvaccinated is approx 10% than the guvmint is playing with fire as it is possible that 10,000 very educated employees could be missing from the system which is already understaffed.
        Yesterday the abysmal BC minister of health announced they would be shuffling patients from more remote regions to southern regions, unmentioned was the fact that the Northern regions have the highest numbers of unvaccinated staff.       While attending many tests over the past year for my wife prior to a critical surgery, we were directed to multiple hospitals in our area. Not a single hospital had all the equipment required to perform the tests in one location and none had any indication of being overwhelmed, or even a little busy, with the covid-19 crowd or any other. Indeed, they were empty of patients…and doctors and nurses, only receptionists and a few of your ‘lower education” types. The parking lots were empty as well.
      When we remarked on this to professional people we know who worked in those area hospitals they sheepishly changed the topic. Not a one even said, “Yea, but….”.
      I’ll believe my lying eyes rather than a psychopathic liar.

  16. after having drinks last weekend with an acquaintance who is a railroader for CN, and speaking with some other railroad employees I know. I honestly suspect that when CN implements their mandatory vaccine policy On November 1st, the vast majority of conductors and engineers will not be compliant and will be forced off the job if CN doesn’t reverse it’s position.

    I’m looking forward to the coming transportation backlog, Thanks to the Librano’s backwards and tyrranical covid regulations.
